Ingame data is getting old

I was 2nd today in online racing and I saw the typical red 0'02.000 seconds text in the screen, for current sector. I think PD should revise their ingame data soon: It's great to know how much is there to the lead of the race if you're playing against the machine, but I think that playing online there are some other data that is most important than the time to the lead.

Personally I'm missing:
Time to the next car
Time to the previous car
Knowing who's in which position in real time (or maybe at each sector)

and it'd be great a graphic of the car's relative position to other cars, a la F355. Sometimes I don't know if I've won the position to enter the chicanes or I must let pass the other car

Which extra ingame data would you like to see?

I love to have the names of who I'm chasing and how many seconds there are in front of me. Same with the trailing car. Some games have that and the leader listed, so you see 3 cars. 1st, trailing, following.

I'd also like to see more splits and red/blue +/- previous split.

Lastly, the exact distance in feet next to the time is really helpful when you're in tight traffic. We have tons of complaints about punters. I've seen this work and it is very helpful to know the driver behind is 5 feet off your rear bumper. Let's face it, the field of view in video games doesn't compare to real life. We need a bit of help. And we don't have spotters! :)

Actually, I'd like the option to turn all the HUD info off. :)

I agree 100% :)

Why try and make my experiance as true as possible with my G25 and using tyhe in car view when I have stupid dials all over the screen,

I know just where the breaking points are. Only info I would find useful would be the split times and laptimes popping up at the side of the screen but only for 5 seconds or so then disapearing again!

Agreed 👍

Distance to the cars in front and behind. Easier to judge if someone might be in your blind spot or trying to overtake.
