It's just as the subject reads =D.Sorry if I posted this on the wrong forum, but I thought I'd get a better range of answers from this one.So,anyways...to my question.Does anybody in here know of a place that sells acrade machines?Maybe one such as Initial D?Sorry,I just got done playing it at the arcades today and if all works well, then I may...just may have enough money to spend on buying the actual arcade. But I need your help guys..if you know of a place that would be selling Initial D Arcade Stage, then please let me know,so I can see how much it is.I really appreciate it.Thank you.

Let alone the cost of buying one in the first place. For the price of that arcade machine you could probably buy 10 AE86 corrolas. Maybe.

Just the standup arcades cost $1000's to buy so god knows how much a state of the art one would cost.

Oh yeah, move this to General Gaming.

Bah bah bah bah bah bah bah bah bah.

km - you doubt I have 10 grand?hehehe...well..ya know, there's a little thing called Savings Account.Do you know how much I have in mine? It's mainly for college, but I don't think I'll be needing 35 grand for college,so I'll put some of that money to a good use =D..seriously.

Race Idiot - ah,I'm not gonna move this cause I already told you my reasons why putting it in this forum.Cause I know I'd get more replies if I put it in this one.Besides...not to sound rude or anything, but how does asking if a place is selling an arcade machine about general gaming?lol,I don't understand

Well it is about an arcade machine, so technically it is about gaming. :D

Still where de feck would you put one of those arcades?

Don't they come in two's anyway, like attatched to each other?

I wouldn't know i'm usually to busy shoving all my spare change into the damn thing to bother looking.

Yeah, but you know obsessive fanboys are.

Oh feck Ǽ doesn't seem to work.
EDIT: Ha ha ha ha take that Æ Æ Æ Æ Æ.

Dude.

i thought about getting one of those once, but it was Ridge Racer III, or something. had a seat, clutch, manual 6-speed, gas, brake, wheel, worked alright, some of the time.

$9,000+.

I remember seeing an arcade box that you could fit a PC into. It was called the mame station or something simmilar, so I suppose it was designed to be used in conjunction with mame, but that doesnt have that 'fag ash all around the sides' arcade feel.

You know what I would really like, one of those old pacman table top arcades, or maybe one with mr do or something.

Ahh Mr Do.

Err.

Well I did mention that he could probably buy an AE86 corrola and still have change for the price of the arcade game.

Yes I know, but it's stupid to think of owning such a thing. Apart from if your the fat sweaty wanker who owns an arcade place.

Hey, don't forget that it also comes with memory cards which are 75 cents a pop! It's still not worth it. I would definately go with the car.

OA

But if you owned the arcade you could just set it to free play and just play till your hearts content.

Although it might just be easyer to get the PS2 version and hook a steering wheel up to it.

I remember reading an article about buying arcade machines, the small units are cheap and you can change the boards around and stuff. But the big ones designed specifically just for one game go into the £10,000+ range.

So yes I think if I had £10,000 to spend I wouldn't go and buy an arcade. I could think of a list of nice real cars to buy for that amount.

Yeah, well at least I don't want a horrible current gen celica.

Bah bah bah bah bah bah bah bah bah bah bah bah.

I would rather get a Blitz/Slurpee machine (would anyone know how much those cost?)

Yes, but what about after you have a car?

it's a shooter, basically if it moves, you shoots it.

ah,who need food when you have racing to feed you =D.Anyways,I'm planning on getting my AE86 this year and it's one that's only gonna be about $1500 in mint condition too ^_^.It's got somewhere around only 150,000 miles on it.And for an AE86 (Corolla) that's not bad at all, hehe. So,if I did buy the arcade, then it would be worth it.I'm just not into the fancy cars that are over $2500.Well,I'm not into fancy cars period,I just go with what I like. But I do admit..a Skyline looks very well for being $56,000 0_0.By the way,I am getting it for the PS2,I just have to wait 2 more months though!!!ahhhhh!!!!oh well...at least I'll get to play it ALLLL summer once I get it,hehe.Right now,I'm on the mission of going to ebay to sell over 700 Dragonball Z/GT cards that I don't want anymore..along with some random videos of DBZ as well, with even some pretty mint condition action figures along with 2 imported games as well ^_^.So,I'm guessing that all of that total is around $300 to $500,cause I have really rare cards in my collection, since I collected them for about 2 to 3 years.I've got cards in my HUGE collection that are worth like $175 and I've got a duplicate of a card that's worth $75,so I should be able to sell ALOT of my DBZ stuff I don't want anymore, cause I don't like it anymore. And if I do sell all of it...then about $100 to $175 is going into Initial D at the arcade 0_o!That sounds insane, but it'll be well worth it =D.Or do I just have problems?

You greedy bastard! Share some of that money with us!
:trouble:

well,I suppose I won't have to worry about buying one, cause I'll just keep going to the arcade and putting at least $20 into every time,so by the time Arcade Stage ver.2 gets to where I'm at (since I've heard it's already in Cali. grrrrrrr....) then by that time,I'll have put about $2000 into it 0_0!Have you guys heard of the cool Initial D Special Stage "controller" you can buy sepretly from the game? It's $115 though!Check out www.ncsx.com then you know the rest..just type in Initial D into the search box and at the very bottom of the list, there it'll be =D.I'm gettin' it.It's a steering wheel with brake/gas,not too sure about stick shift, but the guy I wrote to said the reason it was so high was cause it's got all these Initial D looks to it and I assume it's a limited edition type steering wheel for the game? It's a GTForce,so I'm definitely getting it ^_^!That steering wheel will work with Auto Modellista,Battle Gear 2,Wangan Midnight,Gran Turismo Concept 2002 Tokyo-Geneva and GT3 as well =D.Big benifit for me,since my stupid MC2 wheel didn't work -_-.
