Initial D car collection help

There will be a skyline as well as an s2000. I saw this in the second opener for initial d 4th stage. The s2k will be blue and the r32 will be gold or tan i think.

Doesn't Bunta, his dad, buy this? I think it is like that in the manga, but unfortunately I never had a chance to look at them.
Yea thats right sorry his farther purchases this car and makes him alternate with hachi and the inpreza my mistake :)

is there any spirit r type A FD that is yellow, because i only got black for Kyoko's
FD.

the yellow FD i got was the rx-7 type R bathurst R
you can find it in the used car showroom # 2
its the closest thing i can get to keisuke's car
and no the spirit r type A does not come in yellow

I think the Spirit R Type A FD is one of the best cars for the Capri Rally course. Ive been able to stretch its ratios all out with the auto gears. My max speed was 259. is there anyone that has gone past this? I wanna make my FD a speed demon.

well im trying to collect all (most) of the cars from Initial D

can I request that when you find several cars, you create a list here for others?
I see this becoming a common goal of other ID fans - especially with the growing popularity of the series and arcade game. It'd be good to have a definitive list available somewhere to help prevent redundant threads from appearing and causing others to go down this same road unnecessarily. So far there is only a list of days for the SS Trueno. Just tack stuff onto the first post of the thread.

Hey guys, try this. It's something I've been working on too.

That looks like a lot of work! Well, I'm now trying to get all the Initial D cars in my garage. I've sold all the other cars for that sake :p

Why don't we make a special thread about this subject (Initial D car-specs) and discuss the... Well, the tuning specs about the ID cars, because I have some aditions to make in your loooong list.

If you're going to collect the Initial D cars, it helps to start out with that goal. Some of the cars you need can be used for different races. For example, I bought a Suzuki Cappucino for the Kei car races. I just made sure that it was a red one, like Sakamoto's. I wanted an FD3S RX-7 for the rotary car race, so I waited until a yellow one like Keisuke's showed up, then bought it. Waiting for a black '89 R32 GT-R like Nakazato's to show up means that you can have the 80's car race and possibly the Race of Red Emblem taken care of.

This approach can help you conserve money. 👍

Give me some time, and I can look up exactly what I did to my cars for power mods. I've been doing a lot of other replicas lately, and sometimes it's hard to figure out what mod will get you closest to the power you want. I was looking at my garage earlier today, and it turns out I totally overshot the power on my black Evo III(Sudo Kyouchi). It actually has about 389hp, vs the ~350hp it's supposed to have. :ouch: Time for a little detuning.

Now, if only GT5 will have some Touge tracks, we're all settled :D

Thanks for that link, mate :)

I aggree with you but i think deep forest track probably resembles the touge most, because you get near those trees and brush. the Capri rally probably resembles iro slightly with its multiple hairpins.

I have every single car owned in GT4, and have every single ID car in the best matching color with only the exception of AE85. Some things you need to be aware of when referring to Version 3 cars and trying to buy them in GT4:

---There are 30 ID cars to collect according to Version 3. The only car you cannot find suitable replica is the AE85 Levin SR

---Iketani's S13 Silvia is a 1800cc version, not the 2000cc version

---If you go by the anime, Bunta doesn't drive a grey Impreza Version V. Instead he drives a blue 22B (it's a 2-door). And I'm sure it's NOT the Version VI coupe.

---The color of Toyota Altezza RS200 in Version 3 is too dark. In the anime it's light silver. So you need to buy the lighter silver one.

---The FD that Keisuke drives is NOT a Bathurst R. It's a '91 Type R. The spoiler and fog lights Keisuke has are modified

---The FD that Kyoko drives is unknown. The closest thing to it is NOT the RS-R as someone mentioned, and it's definitely NOT any of the RZs. It should be either '91 or '93 Type R at best, judging by the performance comparison to Keisuke.

---The Lancer EVO VI in Version 3 is a Tommi Makinen edition.

---The S2000 in Version 3 is a '99 S2000 (base model)

---for the Skyline GT25 Turbo (ER34) you can buy the Midnight Purple II version of GTR and change front wheel distribution to 10%

---The R32 GTR is a '94 Vspec-II version

---As far as I'm concerned there is no stage 5 turbo kit for any of the cars (maybe because I'm playing the Asian version of GT4). Someone please confirm this?

By the way I tuned all of my ID cars to the max HP and tuned it to RACE DRIFT (4-WHEEL DRIFT) instead of the show drift that most people are interested in.

The best fastest ID turning machine hands down is the '91 RX-7 Type R, at 606HP.

I find race-drifting the R32 GTR at 758HP and the SS version of AE86 at 315HP are the hardest. The R32 isn't drift happy, and the SS AE86 has poor torque and gear ratio setup.

I hope the above info is helpful to some of you.

(A BIG SHOUTOUT TO TANKSPANKER...KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK ON THE DRIFT SETTING POST, CONGRATS ON THE OWNERSHIP TAKEOVER)

yeah keisuke's car isnt a bathurst r as u can clearly see by the headlights n tailights...but the bathurst r is the closest thing to it if your going by cosmetics

edit: then which wrx model is bunta's? full name please XD

I dunno off hand, check the car list hosted by the good friends of GTP. It's the 2-door coupe model that ends with "22B", in blue color

Kisukes rx7 is tuned to 350 bhp yousukes rx7 is tuned to 275. tukumi's hachi roku has 2 versions the 150 bhp version which is at the begining of the series but when he races the emperos evo III tuned to 350 bph he blows his engine so bunta buys a new engine that gives out 240 Bhp its a special engine according to the series, the secnond version of the car is the suichi shigeno version with 210 hp. the misterious skyline is tuned to 330 Bhp, the EK is tunned to 225 so is the spoon, the cappucino has 160 BHP. the AE86 Levin is a turbo version (i have no idea how acquire this one) but he eventually adds a supercharge in the 4th stage of the series, maybe you can do that in the game. Bunta has a 22b, the midnight blue team sileighty has 280 BHP. the altezza is pretty much stock except for a weight reduccion and a muffler change, and the black rx7 is an rs-r. now i shall go back to listening my initial d soundtrack as i drift in trial mountain. 👍

I've collected just about all of the cars from initial D in the closest colors I can get to the original... except for the AE85 because it's not in the game 👎 . I can't seem to find the EVO 7 in yellow though, only in white, silver, or black. Does anyone know if it comes in yellow?

YES IT DOES

The way to check for all available colors for a model is to go to arcade mode.

My Cappucino is fully tuned and has 126hp. And it does have turbo... mine has the stage 3 version...

cappu is a turbo.... :dunce:, remember these are custom tune up in the cartoon not just parts they bought these guys did extra stuff to get more horsepower out of the car like tunning companies can get 400 bhp from 160 bhp car.

About the Cappuchino: In Japan there is a law about those small cars called: 'Keiyon-jidousha' These cars in the current law aren't allowed to have more than 64HP... These cars have a special yellow license plate, not the white one Japanese 'regular' cars have.
I wonder if you tune the car over 64HP you lose the yellow license plate. In Initial D it still has its yellow lisence plate... It's tuned and driven by a professional tuning company in the series, so I don't think they'd ignore the law and put their name on the line!

Please note that the Japanese law is very strict and companies like to keep their name high!

I finally picked up the yellow EVO 7. I think that's the last car I need to finish the collection. I was just wondering if anyone has a number of how many cars there are total for Initial D?
