The AE86 Trueno was the best..Then the Fc3S...Even though I own one myself..I must say the AE86 was the coolest....And second yes he Tuned his car not detuned, because he knew with the lowerHP he wouldn't be able to keep up with takumi

no no no shinez.

he tuned down his car... and retuned his suspension to be able to keep up with takumi... he realized that with too much hp on hte downhill.. he would have to wear out his tires... and his brakes something he didnt wanna do... infact he was gonna stay behind tak but tak made the mistake and forced ryousuke to go infront... and pushed him to hard in the front... he detuned to liek 250 from round 300-350 i think he said when talking to his brother... while it was slower it he was able to maximize his speed and conserve his tires adn brakes... important aspects but who cares he still lost...
 
he did it to achieve "Total balance" for both uphill and downhill...Because he had full confidence handling bigger power on the downhill he changed the turbine's and increased the pressure.....but now he detuned it...and is disgraced by it..

Sheron, the subaru is bunta's...It appears in 4th and 5th (?) stage in the MANGA...Currently, they are still transforming the 4th and 5th stage into and anime
 
Sactly...manga rules all..thank god for kanji!...The 22B is bunta's ride..first appeared in the manga..then appeared in the arcade, then will be in the series.....Second..There are "3" movies...Battle Stage - Compilation of the races from 1st stage
Extra stage = focuses on the Sil-eighty pair
And The Movie..which is the third stage...Where he races The FC3S the Evo III The MR-2 And the Celica Concept All-Trac
 
By the way..Do any of you know where I might be able to download "Legend Of Speed"..IT's an Ekin Cheng movie..(I think I spelled his name right)..Anyway..It's a Live action movie that crosses initial D with Tokyo Xtreme Racer/Biker Boys And F&F..And it's fairly old.....I've been looking for it for a while..And I can only find that 7 minute music video kinda thing....

There was a silver Evolution IV of the Emperors, or LanEvos as they are called, that raced the two girls in the blue Sil80 in the Extra Stage Episode Sudden Impact Blue....it lost. The wierd thing about that episode is that it totally lacked Takumi. Takeshi of the Night Kids mentions him a couple of times, saying the girls could learn from Takumi's dorifto style.

Who can't learn from that, especially for GT.

I wish GT3 had the Sil80.....they look so cool.

I think it's the Ford Focus FR200....but I may be wrong, I don't really like the Focus, so I don't worry about it. Or maybe there's yet another Ford that is named like that. I don't know.

Anybody know of the COLORS of these previously mentioned cars, like Bunta's Scooby? We kids in the US get gipped out on this kind of stuff (Manga, good animes on TV, Skylines, SR20DET motors, etc. etc. etc.)

Wow, no votes for the Evo's yet.
 
I think it's the Ford Focus FR200....but I may be wrong, I don't really like the Focus, so I don't worry about it. Or maybe there's yet another Ford that is named like that. I don't know.

It is the Ford Focus FR200..It's actually a good Ford..It looks somewhat ricey, but it handles over a lateral G Stock and it's FWD..And it also makes 300HP.....Pretty coo if you ask me..there is no Rs200 ford...And second about that "We Kids in the US"...I'm in the US...And I got all of it...either on my PC or in mah manga...I wouldn't watch anime on TV anyway....I'd feel obligated to see every episode or i'd feel I'd miss out on something important..Just Download it...Lol..Right now I have 4 100CD spools filled with burned anime...
 
There is a Ford RS200 it was Group B rally car. It was also in Gran Turismo 2.

If you want to get technical. The only cars in Initial D that are in GT3 are:

Toyota Sprinter Trueno (ae86) Takumi

Toyota Sprinter Trueno SS(ae86 with 20v) Takumi
SS is for Shuichi Shigeno. And guess who created Initial D yeah that's right, Shuichi Shigeno. The GT3 car gots Watanabe rims and so does the Initial D car. Both have the Carbon fibre hood too. The only thing missing probably is the Tofu Shop sticker and the fog lights at the front.

Honda Civic SiR II (eg6) Shingo

Nissan Silvia 1800cc (S13) Iketani

Toyota MR2 G-Limited (SW20) Kai (No blue though)

Mazda RX-7 (FC3S) Ryosuke

Subaru Impreza WRX STi type R ver. V (gc8) Bunta
Are you guys sure he drives a 22b? I always thought it a type R. It's like that in the Arcade game anyways.

The White LanEvoIV that Seigi drives is a RS. The one in GT3 is a GSR. The RX7 Keisuke drives is a RX7 Type R. The one in GT3 is a Type RS or RZ it's also much newer. The 180sx in GT3 is the newer one. The 180sx Kenji drives is an older version.
 
good explanation . if u want to played the game simmilar to it
try tokyo road race . it simmilar & also u have to unlock all initial d cars by win with the 3* computer cars ( set it at option )
& 2* for unlock track also initial d tracks.......
 
The 180SX in GT3 isn't a 180SX it's a 240SX fastback...since it's a 240 it obviously doesn't have a good engine........poor 240
 
Huh it IS a 180sx look at the name. The 240sx fastback only came with either a KA24 and was replaced by the KA24DE. The KA24E had a neck breaking 140hp!! While the DOHC KA24DE had a 15hp increase with 155hp!!! :rolleyes:
The older 180sx either came with a ca18 engines. (BTW 180 came from 1.8 Liter engine size) Later models have a SR20DET or SR20DE.
So the 180sx in GT3 makes 205hp and the only engine making that HP is the SR20DET. Which is NOT a 240sx engine.

Oh I forgot to add that there is a Red Mazda Miata in Initial D the driver is Tooru Suetsugu.

Another Initial D car is the Nissan Skyline R34 GT-S driven by Atsurou Kawai. The girl who drives the RX7 in initial D drives a RX7 Spirit R. Too bad these weren't in GT3.
 
S13...EEE wrong just like hte other guy...The KA24E had 155 HP and was never replaced by the KA24DE..the KA24DE was just an option....The KA24E continued in 240SX all the way through 97 bucko...and the name's are obvious ..even if the engines wern't 1.8 liter it was 1.798 liters...but who's rounding...>.>...And 205HP is not a Sr20DET engine..SR20DET'S made from 220 up to 250....they didn't make 205
 
No! Where do you get your information?
In 1989 and 1990 the engine used is the KA24E with 12 valves and 140 bhp. In 1991 and up the KA24DE engine with 16 valves and 155 bhp was used. I never heard of a SOHC S14.

Oh and your wrong about the SR20DET never making 205hp and it only making 220hp and 250hp. Look up what kind of engine a 180sx type X or S13 Silvia 2000cc Ks has and tell me how much hp it has.
