in my opinion.... i think the game is WEAK... i've never played it, but juss by watching it being played, makes me not even want to play it... i'd take kaido battle or battle gear over Initial D ANYDAY...

only way to get ur attention is battle gear a drifting game like can you actualy drift and how much does it cost and is it worth buying and can you fix up the car and is it 2 player a link with info would really help thanx.

you can play online against others, and they have a ranking system so that you can see where you stand in comparison to others... Check It Out...

sorry to dig this up outta the past...

i have Initial D special Stage on the PS2

it's not a bad game.. but it's based more on the comic book rather then the Anime (the drifting is more exagerated in the Anime)

they use the same voice actors as the Anime and the story mode is slick...

just the gameplay is a little lackin at parts..

basically its the arcade game on PS2 in a sense. I have it for PS2, got it for free....can't say how...but, the controls are abit "iffy." There's really no sense of you drifting, its jsut tire screeching and smoke, but you never actually feel like you're sideways or even @ an angle for that matter. If I were you, I'd pass up on this one and just wait for the US edition of the new Kaido battle
