And to let you guys know ahead of time: You will only like this game if you like the anime or if you don't mind playing something that is not realistic. ^^;

I got out of Initial D for a reason, I believe.
 
How the hell do you make the damn thing drift? I got Extreme Stage and I'm just driving without drifting the turns.
 
I got out because it got too boring, no competition and expensive to play.

I love this game on the ps3 though.


@Sting: Just watch youtube battles and ask questions about what gears or what information you need on what specific track.

I'm on the initial d forums. ^^;

I watched a-lot and figured the game out like that and pretty much.. I'm at a comfortable zone with my skill. ;D

Lol, Being addicted to the arcade machine.

1 dollar per race.

It's depressing.

Mainly because I've heard of arcades that only cost 50 cents to play.... but I've been on version 3 for years and i got sick of putting all my money into the game. So I bought the online ps2 game first.. and the online ps3 game next.. and now.. that's no longer the issue. ;3

aahh, i didnt know there is arcade machine version, ive never seen one in the UK.
 
Haha got to love Initial D very few people I know know about the franchise but it's my favorite anime, I got Extreme Stage but only have the stupid Asian Version :( Theres no Online Play in my version, I'm seeing you have the Japanese Version of course! This game is awesome with my DFGT, I remember going down to London a couple weekends and at the Tracadero and blowing so much money on Initial D Stage 4 still have my ID Card i'll scan it if you like? lol
 
Soo...what's the deal? It looks like Version 4 just came to the states and now Ver. 5 is out? What about the anime series? It was a good idea that I got out of the whole Initial D thing...

Arcade Version 4 = Extreme Stage
The anime just released Extra Stage 2 in December leaving the ropes knotted with Mako and Ikentani. But so far, the anime has caught up with the Manga though the Manga, like always, is a bit farther.

You could look. I stopped looking since I found out that she is doing. Its probably out though.
 
I love that course! because no matter what level you are, one mistake and its over.
 
I love it too, but every time I race it on my psp I end up losing, I've only beat it once.

When you master Akina Downhill and figure out the correct gears to be in.

He's to easy even on Hard. :(
 
I wasn't talking about Haruna, more like Iro or Happogahara. But that was when if you made a mistake, Bunta just easily passes you and its over. Those were the old versions though.
