Thanks, thats one of the first time I got complement regarding my thread.
Most of the threads that I started, I got booed, cussed and sometimes threatened to be banned because of my two unsuccesful threads on cars in general (Vtec Power Zone & Honda/Acura Street Car Club).

The first thing before I started this thread, that this is supposed to be my last ditch effort to be a long-stand member of GTP, I thought that if this doesn't go through, I might as well quit going to GTP.

Thanks for the complements, I will try my very best to keep this thread alive.

hey azn drifter i got a r34 2.5 turbo in special stage. its ok... i dont like 6 gears for this kind of racing game. but it handles better than the gtr.
 
The 25GT in Ver.3 is a very excellent car, it's my second tier =). The only problem I notice though is that it tends to understear alot for some odd reason. Other than that it's a very cool car. I'm just glad in Ver.3 that the DC2 is back to being horrible. It was pathetic in Ver.2, since Honda sponsored Ver.2. You hit a wall with the DC2...it continues to accelerate and maintains the speed while others it loses speed.

Anyways....Ver.3 rocks, if your ever in the Bay City,MI area just stop by and ask for any of the Ver.3 fans, we would be glad to meet you =). Oh another good thing on Ver.3 is that the Hachi Roku's shifting points changed. For me it seems to accelerate at a better pace around 10,000 rpm. And the gutter hook trick works the best for it also, other cars can but it seems the Hachi gains it the best....oh what else....Cars specific for the course are going to be the best. Like on Myogi, the 32 and etc...The sound track personally is alright...If you take Pamela from Ver.3 and combined it into the Ver.2 sound track...that would equal one awesome sound track heh. The Capp. doesn't drift that much anymore in Ver.3 which is good. Pretty much ALL CARS have a deadspot now like the Hachi did in Ver.2, which was really horrible might I add...Three new courses. Akina Snow and I forgot the other two. More racers like S.S.L (Seven Star Leaf) and the evil celica guy on snowy akina. Racers are placed differently, you first face Ry on Akina..and Zack on Akina also. Besides that...the ending credits music owns.
 
It sucks though on Ver.3 they downgraded the new engine for the Hachi that it irks me. Ver.1....top speed was 213(Cause I'm elite =P) Ver.2 was 207 (Okay..lost four...not bad) Ver.3....205?! (TO LOW DAMN YOU!!!) The new engine has more RPM than the GTR (Correct me of I'm wrong) And that thing can go 207 with only 200,000 in points while I have a 300,000 point Hachi. Egh...but it's somewhat good though. They involved more of the cars than the actual drivers from the series. That means they took out the advan. of the car because Tak drives it, therefore that means I get more of a challenge when I'm owning noobs that never play it...Okay yeah I'm an ebil person but hey...I show off with an 86' car and I have bragging rights =P
 
well first of all u shouldnt be pickin on noobs. cuz thats just messed up. haha!! and did u get that 213 on a hachi wen u were behind some one because on ver/1 wen u race another person Boost is on. and there is no way of toggling boost in ver.1 and ver.2 should be just right. and ver.3 is perfect. a 86 shouldnt out power a skyline!! and points dont mean ur car goes faster after all the major mods. its all about skill. :sly:
 
the trueno's accel in v1 was INSANE! was like it had NOS! I verse any1 i can coz atm im playing for points, leave accept on ill vs u. V2 i didnt when i had dc2 as i didnt want to be labelled cheap.. would only vs aura players

It was the time attack for Myogi, I had to beat my friends time on it. He told me After the first two turns, when the shadows of the tree's first appear I have to be going 170 (This is from the first lap). After the first lap and heading back to the part I was going 212 after the turn I ended up 213. I screwed up though...I performed my special 'Super mega uber' move. All I do on that long turn before the big one is simply tap the brake. With that the Hachi turns sideways and I used to be able to do it without holding onto the steering wheel. I think I took too much of a time off this game, I used to own Akina and Akagi but now I been getting royally owned...I guess it's time for Kyo to make his mark back in Ver.3 -does a dramatic pose-

The problem is, for some of us (like me), we KNOW it's out, but we are UNABLE to play it because the arcades don't HAVE the game.

I'm driving a blue nismo R34 gtr with 60000 points.
i was just wondering if any of you guys would gimmie a few hints of how to get faster time, little tricks you use, techniques etc...

now, what is the best car for me to use to whip my buddies with? i am prepared to spend alittle time and cash to get it decent
 
use the DC2 in v2. Its the best car for the game. Some of u guys may discourage that opinion coz u may think its cheap, yes it is coz its so damn good but if u vs ppl to fair maps then its okay. The fairest map the dc2 would vs ppl to would probably be akagi, usui wouldnt be too far behind. You using the r34 is really hard, its a tough car to use and bad for battles. Id suggest u use a DC2, if u dont like it u can use the FD or bunta's 8v which needs a code. That is on the shifter do - Up(north),Up,Down(south),Down,Up,Down,Up,Down, step on brake then view change.. good luck! :)
 
yet again, im a n00b :dunce: , so what is the dc2? integra type R? theres alot of those around here.... everyone seems to use those, and i get raped all the time by those guys.
the R34 isnt a bad car, its just tricky to drive. i find, it drifts alot and because of that, it scrubs the wall on tight courses or on hairpins. :crazy:
learn to drive what u go tho i guess . . .

yea its ITR backside. id go with the Dc2,bunta's car,fd( spirit), and a Ev0 4. Dc2 isnt cheap its just a better well rounded car. the R34 to much understeer. especially in irohazaka. and i think u will have a bigger poblem on Happogahara. so id go with the Dc2 or Ev0 IV(4). i support fat laces' opinion. but over all the Dc2 and the Ev04 owns. but Bunta's car is also well rounded but Dc2 is better.

DC2 is a cheap way to go in Ver.2 since it's the best car, due to the game being sponsored by Honda. It's even cheaper then the RX-7 Type R was on Ver.1. This car bounces off walls..and continues accel. Use the DC2 if you want to be cheap and get easy victorys. Bunta mobile is very excellent, espcially on Akina from the homecourse advantage. The 34 is godly on Myogi, oh man it tops out the GTR32 on that course. If you want a well rounded car...I recomended the RX-7 Type R, it's a good moderate car and isn't cheap. Or the Spirit R, looks sexier.
