Initial D Staging Area

awk!!! man ver.3 is not as fun as ver.2 or its either i lost my passion for ID. but o well! i made a small team with my lil bro and cousin. and another friend. still Deciding on names. but heres my team name right now Team Ev0. but not all ppl drive Ev0s and my other friend drives a 'teg. but my other name is Team ELiTE. but it might be already taken. i might just go with my old team name. Team Hayai Ryu. i dunno... on Team Hayai i had atleast 30 people! haha. big team huh? well ima decide and ask my fellow team members.

^Same here man, I'm also losing interest not just InD, but all the Coin-Op games out there, maybe because I'm so hyped up about GT4, so I don't care about other games any more.

I Have a team that I'm not currently active, its called D'Best (I know its kinda whack), but it was assembled by Drift Project R (former GTP member), KOJI, DANNY, and (with minor paticipatio) me. :)
 
:: Sighs. :: Some punk stole my card. I had just completed it, too. Sad to say, but Bye bye RX-7 Spirit R, and Hello SILVIA Spec-R [S15]. Never really used a Silvia, just raced one or two in the third version. And I got it modified, and it's a lot better than my Spirit. The top end of the last gear for the RX-7 was horrible, but for the fifth and sixth gear on the Silvia, it accelerates instead of staying at a certain RPM. Drifts easier, too. Tomorrow, from 7 PM to Midnight, there's unlimited games and such at the local arcade. I'm going to own the Version 3 the whole time. No breaks for DDR or anything like that. I'm just going to focus on my new ride and getting used to it against the rest of the people there.

Whoa...it got stolen? That stinks, good luck with the s15 i think if i get a new card later that might be a candidate.

Thanks. So far, so good. You might want to look into the Alteeza, also. Heard it was an excellent choice.
 
Thats why always keep an eye on all of your cards, because if you don't, poof!!! It's gone. My DC2 on V.2 card has been with me forever, I never hang my card on top of the machine, I alway put it on my pocket, and hang my lesser card or invalid cards on the machine. ;)

Oh, trust me. I kept that thing on me the whole time. My friend behind me started playing another game, and he wanted me to help him out with something. The card wasn't ejected yet, so I just made my way over to the game he was playing. I helped him out, and turned around and the damn thing was gone. I wasn't even 6 feet away from my card. I asked around, and no one reported one into lost and found. Earlier that day, I found a card and reported it in. But people are jerks, and of course they probably kept it. I only used my RX-7 card, I kept all my other cards in my wallet the whole time. And my wallet was in my back pocket. It pissed me off, but I guess maybe it was a sign? Need a new car. Lol.
 
There is a lot of snachers out there, especially if you have a highly decorative card as I do. Whatever it takes, I never leave my card (esp. my DC2 A/T) out of my sight. :nervous: :scared: :)
 
Heh. Well, my card wasn't all that decorated yet. I was only on battle level 3, and I wasn't even that far over - all. I've been playing Version 3 for 6 days or so, and my Spirit was completely modified by the 2nd day. But I had over 200,000 points last time I checked. I had 16 consecutive victories on my first two days, and the rest of the days I beat a few more people. Then I lost to a AE86 by 3 meters. I was like 21 and 3. Not sure. But yeah. I mean, the card wasn't worth much. Just the car itself. :indiff:
 
well losing a card always sux. remembering how much u put into it! i lost my 'teg i had 900000 points on it. boy was i pissed. i wanted to kill the guy who took it. but not litterally tho. id get into his head and keep aksin y u took it and y were u so gay. ( not reffering to a sexual refrence but u no what i mean).

Lol. I spent over 40 bucks. Not that much, but you know how it is. :ouch:
 
Maybe somebody doesn't want to start from the beginning, he/she want a shorter way to get good, kinda cheap if you ask me. :grumpy:

That is one of the many reasons why I don't use the cars I win. I just keep them in my wallet in case one of my friends needs a car. My friends are cheap, what can I say? :sly:
 
Plus, I can get a few dollars off of them if I win them a race or two for their car. Everything works out in the end, you might say. 👍
 
They pay you to have fun, while you're hoping up thier cars, I get that all the time. :sly:

Very sweet. And then on the August 20th, there's a Lock-In at the arcade. Midnight to 6 AM for 25 dollars. Unlimited EVERYTHING. Cosmic Bowling, DDR, Initial D Version 3, Food, Etc.. It's going to be sweeter than sweet. 👍

Sucks to be you for two reasons:

1. You moved away from an awesome city
2. ....I can't think of the other one right now, BUT THERE'S ANOTHER REASON, TOO! 💡
 
Anyway. I have a question for you guys. Which Skyline is better over all? BNR34? Or ER34? I'm thinking about making a new card with one of those. But when I was playing today, I noticed one of the guys that wouldn't race me was using the ER34. He kept getting pissed cause he couldn't drift with it, or control it very well. Is it true it's harder to control and drift with? And I mean, DRIFT DRIFT. Not a sissy turn like most people do.
 
i think the bnr and ER are about the same. Ud have to check on initiald.org, it has the car rankings on a point system. I think the best GTR would be the 32 as it still does alright on some dry maps. Shame to hear that u lost the FD as it would be a better car to use IMO compared to the s15. The s15 has monstrous acceleration but its handling sucks id assume as it doesnt do that well in dry or wet. And generally the drift cars are harder to use than the grip cars but the drift cars are faster on akina than grip (86/cap Versus gc8v/sil80, etc).

Hmm..Thanks. But I must disagree that the S15 bad handling in a way. Thus far, I haven't lost control of the car on any map. And I've played on them all dry and wet, day and night, clockwise and counter. But I'm better then most people at drifting and such, if I may say so myself. I usually pick the wet stages, for better training purposes. I guess I can relate to Tak. Train in the snow, and you'll be the best person on the dry and wet. Continuously training on the harder setting will make the easier settings EASIER. That's my theory/strategy at least. But anyway. I haven't looked into initiald.org yet. I've been mostly getting my information off the segarosso.com site. Thanks for explaining the Skyline options to me. 👍

Think this car is just known for its mad understeer. Good thing abt this car is that u can block them when they start catching up.. other than that its known to be quite under average for TA .. battle wise may be alright

I really don't use it for TA. Just for battle purposes. I'm going to make a BNR34 or maybe an R32 Skyline for TA. I'm not sure yet. I'm still looking into the cadidates for the best car in TA. Any suggestions, anyone?
 
best car for TA is the rx8. Best for dry and wet! But apparently it has a steep learning curve.. just quoting from experienced drivers.. but u should really go for the car that has strengths in the maps u really like.. say if ur interested in usui/akina u might go for the 180sx coz it does greatly in these 2 maps and so on...

Not sure about the RX-8, but we'll see. I just got the Bunta WRX again. Seems pretty decent in TA for me on all the maps. But time will tell. I might get another car. Who knows. Thanks, though.
