Initial D Staging Area

Yeah the arcade machine, oh boy.
Better cough up thousands of $$$$$$.
But the benefits are:
-more friends
-upgrade your cars faster
-more cars
-no more tokens :D

:dunce:

But there are downsides too:
-too bulky
-too heavy
-expensive to maintain
-noisy
-eats too much electricity

:dunce:

But, back on the Philippines and some imports here in the US. The Dance Dance Revolution series arcade[Coin-Op] uses the same hardware as the venerable PSOne, such as the two memory card slots on the JDM and Euro version (n/a in the US version).

And there's another arcade game that is also based on a videogame console, Outrun 2 (US version) is using an X-Box on its hardware. But when the console version comes out in stores, it will only come out on the PS2. :)

:dunce:

Yeah, thought I'd just stay away from the crappy ver., although I'd like to try out an InD, Kaido, or Battle Gear game. I'd like to see something of the sort hit my door. :D

Lets not hit the guardrail here, lets get back to Initial D.

As far as I researched on the Japanese website the next godcar on version 3 will be the [R32] Nissan Skyline GT-R, just like the RX-7 (ver.1) and ITR (ver.2) on the earlier versions.

Whats with these cars?! Did Sega Rosso intentionally program the cars to be "one is more powerful than the other". And another thing I've noticing this since ver.1, why are the cars in InD don't perform what they are intended to do, for example, everytime I play Battle Gear 2 [Coin-Op] (by Taito) the AE86 (which the car I always use) is so easy to oversteer like a real FR should really do. But on InD, its quite the opposite, the AE86 act as if like an FF, just like the Integra Type-R in Battle Gear 2 "delayed oversteer" effect. And one more thing as I try to attempt to do a 360 in Myogi (counter-clockwise, wet) on my "Fun Car" [EA11R] Suzuki Cappuchino on the sharp corner of the stage, after you compplete the 360 the car suddenly does backward as if it has a reverse gear until I hit the wall, WTF???!!!! Is there something wrong with physics engine here?!
Thats why the my fun factor in InD is going way down, in fact I don't even know if I'm going to continue playing InD on Ver.3.

I think you got it the other way around. The ITR is the god car of ver 1 and i think the rx-7 is the god car of ver 2. I dotn think theres much problem with the physics in InD at all. But thats my opinion. If you get a chance you guys should play Battle Gear 3. Fun Game, you can get a key and customize ur car and it will save on ur key. Also you can make your own team logo.Sweet Game

Yeah, I really looking forward of playing Battle Gear 3 than Initial D ver.3, but BG3 is nowhere here in Las Vegas only BG2 (and I'm kinda good at it too).

Yo, have you played ver.1? Because I did, and as what I've observed most of the best time made in Japan are mostly RX-7's, then AE86 is the second fastest then the DC2. But when Ver.2 came out, thats a different story, because the best car in Ver.2 is thd DC2 followed by the GC8V "Bunta Car" and the RX-7. Because the DC2 is fast on Akina UH/W, Happo, Iroh; GC8V is good on Akagi, Akina and most of the wet courses; RX-7 is good on Akagi and Usui.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. :)

I'd be guessin a lot of ppl arent a fan of DC2s becuz they are cheap(as they say) in ver 1, thats why you dont see much. But in the other hand theres ver 2 and a lot of ppl have DC2s, so i unno. But I can see that there wud be a lot of rx-7s in ver1, I see a lot of ppl use em. Anyways, In BAttle Gear 3, drifiting is a lot more difficult then in InD tho. Theres a lot of down-shifiting and braking involved. But its still fun.

i played midtnight wangan at the sahara hotel

Midnight Wangan is a cool cheap-ass game by Genki and published by Namco. Actually to the untrained eye, its based directly to the 'Tokyo Extreme Racer' series with a made up manga story with it. Why cheap-ass? Is that because the handicap boost is so 'Bunta Challenge' from the beginning, they go so fast at straights and then intermediate slow when turning.

Anyways, In BAttle Gear 3, drifiting is a lot more difficult then in InD tho. Theres a lot of down-shifiting and braking involved. But its still fun.

Its very hard at first, but when you get used to it, the fun factor is way beyond than that of InD.

For serious players, use Initial D.
For the sake of fun, play Battle Gear.
That my opinion. :)

i think the Ev0 4 owns all except happo. its hard for me.

this maybe off topic but i got BG3 for Ps2. and special stage(old news).

[CP9A] EVO IV's are decent cars back in Ver.1, just like the [GC8V] WRX Type-R in Ver.2.
This car is so nimble and well balanced with a hint of overstreer. 👍

Here's my favorite CP9A ever, the Lancer EVO V that will be featured in Ver.3, yey.

Are you from Cali? If you are, its obvious. I'm from Vegas, and the arcade guys told me that Ver.3 will be here in Vegas by mid May, bummer. :grumpy:
