Jetstorm, believe me, if I knew anyone around me that could drift or had any interest in it what so ever, I would have been all over that. I would have gotten edit crazy and shown aspects from both points of view and threw in clips of them watching their opponent in front of them and such.

I've been using a wheel for about a week and a half. I started with the pad, then got too frustrated and finally plopped down the cash for a wheel.

What wheel are you using? I was thinking about getting the Momo Force wheel, but I think I'll wait to see the GT4 wheel. Does anyone know if the GT4 wheel is belt driven, or gear driven?;)

San Angelo, Texas =/ I doubt anyone lives anywhere near here, as its around 200 miles from anything. I tried getting some friends into drifting but they're more into NFSU or other games that dont really require practice to get good at =(


Silviadrifter, I use the Logitech Driving Force wheel. I dont know if its good as its the only one I've ever used, but after around 2-3 days of playing with it I got adjusted.

Just got through watching it and I must say that you did some really spectacular editing and I like the music used to score the whole thing. I smiled the whole time that the Eg was going around. Nice vid.

Wow, quite the compliment, thank you much Brother and I am glad you enjoyed it. If you liked this one you may like my next video that will probably come out some time after the holidays. I already have a good idea of how it is going to go and the image/video quality should be a step up from last time as I have more HDD space now to store uncompressed cuts from drifting replays.
 
Well, I watched the vid. I thought the drifts were ok., but the rims on the cars was all wrong.
EG6 - black rims with a red lip
FC - black rims
FD - the blocky lookin' five spokes
I did however like the addition of the shifting and other scenes from the series thrown in, very nicely done.;)

I had Shingos rims wrong due to one of my cards has it with white rims so I followed that =(
In the beginning of the first season of Initial D, Ryosuke had white rims, so I went with those, I didnt pay attention to what he used later on so you may be right, he may have had black later on. With the FD I went as close to what he had that I could, perhaps I missed something.

Oh yea, I fully admit my drifting is quite sub-par at best, I'm very new to it (I started a month ago) and you'll never hear me say other wise =)
 
I've got a question, this may seem ignorant but how in the world did you get a Yellow FD, I looked for it but I couldn't see it in the selection menu, do you have to win it? Thanks.

Amature - Japanese championship. You will either get a green one or the yellow one. ;)
 
This one i REALLY liked.. Even though i might not be the biggest Initial D fan i still enjoyed this movie. :D 👍👍👍👍👍
 
Well hopefully you'll like my next one I'm working on right now Bazz =) I got a request from a friend who drives one of the cars I did up in my new video to make something for him, so I'm going to try to pound it out before I go on leave for 2 weeks =)

So far I have the clips all ready, for the most part. I have a basic concept, and a song picked out. Working title at the moment is "FFU". May take all day tomorrow and the next day, as I plan on doing some heavy editing.
 
Looking forward to see it.. I think its bedtime now though.. 7:32 AM feels sorta.. Late. I´ll check back when i wake up.
 
Haha, its not going to be done for a while Brother, this ones going to take a bit. I'm penciling it out right now and I've got the frame work and the mathematics just about done so that I can fill the whole song with what I have.

Man, this thing has been dloaded quite a bit. I just checked my server stats and this file has been responsible for 8472632 KB worth of transfer from my server. A MB, or Megabyte, is 1024KB, so in MB transferred thats 8274.05 which is a little over 8GB.

To figure how may times its been dloaded, I took the total MB and divided it by the file size, which is reported as 35.3 on the server. 234 times. Not too bad =)
 
Cool vid man. Forgive me if I'm wrong but did you drift the S13 badly on purpose because Iketani sucks in the show? Those drifts didn't look as good as the other ones.

And where did you get the clip of Kenji driving the RPS13? I think I have watched every episode of Initial D and I can't seem to remember him driving in any of them.

No, its cause I suck =) I'm not good at drifting, and I take no offense because I'm pretty new to it and I dont have alot of practice time. I kept most of the vehicles near their HP of the series, but since I dont remember them saying what Iketani has I just did a muffler change and left the HP at that.

Hmm... Lemme see.... I think it was when the Red Suns first showed up on Mt. Akina and they talked to the Speedstars then they all started practicing. It was during that section I believe.

Edit: I probably could have used cuts from when Kenji Tailed Iketani when he went to go see Mako. Probably should have, those were daytime clips. I didnt review those eps for clips. =/
