its almost here. some of the roumers i herd were u use a key instead of a card.

that's BATTLE GEAR 3.....that one is already released in asia area.....it's a key that saves ur potins and stuff

then u can go home, access the website, and then "purchase" mods with ur points...then it'll be updated at the video game machines the next time you play.....or so says my friend

a few initial D version 3 machines have been placed in various arcades for testing purposes

Where did you here this? Do you have a link to some info? Is Special Stage coming to the US, or is it a new Initial D game?

well, ur purchase upgrade with points....sounds kinda neat...get to customize ur cars and stuff

initial D, u sorta have to purchase upgrades as well.....like the extra rims or hood and stuffs....

Initial D: Special Stage is basically the PS2 version of Initial D: Arcade Stage Version 2, but with an added story line and ALOT more songs from Initial D Stage 1, 2, and Battle Stage. It should be coming out around the 1st quarter of 2004, according to GMR.

actually the onyl time u can purchase ur mods with ur points in initial D is when u finished all of ur upgrades on the option u picked.

awsome! i just got a ps2 for cmas so i figure this will prob be the first game i buy for it (already got gt3, prince of persia, and atv offroad fury 2 for cmas)
i loved the arcade ver of initial d i found last summer, put about $50 into it, then on my last trip i found a second arcade that had ver 2
oh well, i definatley know what i'm saving for, btw anyone else in here play the ps1 initial d game? opinions? (keeping in mind the graphics of the time :-p )
