I got inspired to learn how to be a better driver in real life partly through initial D. But I honestly never thought about drifting in real life or GT3 until I found this site.

initial D didnt inspire me to drift.....just made my like the sileighty.....hmm....i got into drifting after i went to one of the book stors in Little Tokyo...thats when i saw my first Drift Tengoku...or was it Option 2....****, i dont remember...which was around.....late 2001 i think.....ok ANyways...yea..Inital D is getting annoying with al these little kids getting into it now..o wells...

not initial d but gran drifto, and when i saw that i said i can do that and so i can

Mine all started from accidently catching a video of Keiichi Tsuchiya drifting, I started looking into it, and Initial D was the next step.

Wow... OK, you could say IniD drew me in, a good friend of mine on another gaming forum (a GTA forum, to boot) told me about Initial D about 2 years ago. I didn't know much and couldn't find much. Then about a year later (late November 2003) I see it in Autoweek and I keep it on the back burner. Fast forward to, about a week after this year's Daytona 500 (early March). I watched the now-defunct desync.com Second Stage stream off of Winamp TV. After that, I was hooked. A thread here, a link there, and I find myslef here. I watch Shadow's drift bible then started GTA drifting. Now I'm hooked

It's amazing where you can find yourself when you venture off the beaten path and follow the magic link trail :sly:

alright well I got into drifting by initial d, buut i got into gt drifting from the vids i saw from this site the very first time. the first one i saw was " drift god", the purple NSX. but yeah, i saw the drifting vids and ever since that i was determined to do it. knowing that others can do it.. i said " so could I ".

I never knew about intial D till this place and i always knew about drifting so i can say some of the vids ive seen really inspired me but i still cant drift so.....

For me Initial D came after I got into drifting, which was in late 01, but when it did (summer 02) it made want to drift the bejesus out of Gran Turismo 3. I've been doing it ever since, with a little help from cudaman!!!

i got into by first the manga.
then i started collectin that and love hina.
that i was crazi about it.
id look up cars on ebay and like ohh yea ima get that and that and that.
but now im rly mellow about it.
drifting rules cant wait till i get my liscense.

I got into close to 6 years ago, friends and family got me into it. It got intense when I started ordering the videos from friends who live in Japan. It reached the boiling point when I attended my 1st drift event in Japan.

Whats up. Who loves the 86 S.S. version on GT3 and uses it?

Well i actually tuned my car to eat the grass patches to save on time and beat my friend. Its great because it doesnt slow down either and i beat my friend who was using a Denso Sard Supra on midfield. the trueno i tuned had a grip like style to it and when the gas is pressed too long on 2nd gear it starts to spin out? Why is that?

lolz...hey carprincefc3s...ur a fahg...lolz....jp..lolz we broz...newaz ya i waz da same initiald and sum of the vidz and when my bro started 2 drft i also started..onl y learned a lost faster...he iz still better though

I found initial d arcade stage ver.1 in this gamezone and was hooked, I then found out about the manga and anime and started buyin like crazy. I never really drifted apart from that. I already was into GT by that time and knew about this site but only once i joined and realised that drifting in Gt3 was a big thing that i started doing it.
