Nice start man. I like the last two pictures of the first set, with the little Vauxhall, being my favourite. Tat and the Audi, are very sharply detaild for unedited shots, which is a talent all in itself. 👍
The first Zonda shot is also very sharp. There are no jaggies that I can see, and the out of focus background brings out the car very nicely. 👍
Great start man, don't be too hard on yourself, Photoshop isn't necessary, but it can be handy. I'm sure that If you follow the tutorials like jgda9rs has said, you will start posting better and better pictures - keep 'em coming! 👍
The second one didn't turn out very well for some reason... not sure why. Unedited once again just btw
As CamryFan said, its to do with shutter speed, but also how close you are to the car.
From where you are standing, you would need a very high shutter speed to counter the speed blur, which would also ruin the sense of speed and action you were trying to present. An easy fix is to stand as far back as possible, and then zoom in. Why?
When an object crosses the lens, depending on its distance from the lens, it will travel either faster or slower. If you are close (like in your shot), it will travel faster needing a higher shutter speed to counter the effects of speed blur. On the other hand, if you are further away, the object will travel slower across the lens, and thus needing a slower shutter speed.
Try experimenting with standing further away (and zooming in), and using different shutter speeds. I generally never go any higher than 1/250, and try each increment up to that shutter speed. If I can't get a clean shot within that shutter speed range, I step further back and repeat the process until I find a shot I am happy with. I hope this helps a little. 👍
