Installed original US DVD GT5 prologue... how to update?

hi, I finally got a PS3 and i got the GT5 prologue US release for 5$ during boxing day, but what I wanted to know is how to update the game to SpecIII? where do I update this game? is it still possible with the closure of the prologue multi servers?

I'm waiting for january for GT5 XL to finally got the main game, but waiting for this release, I'll enjoy prologue.
 
I'm unsure as to whether it is, I think you may have to buy an NTSC Spec III Disc..
