I would be grateful if PD can make the interior view of standard car like that on GT5.Then again there will be another complain about it, i want this..i want that..

Let's hope for GT6 will come much better!

People just need to stop complaining unecessarily. If the cockpits of standard cars really looked like that, then considering they started off having no cockpits at all I would think that is a good cockpit for standard cars.

It didn't bother me at all on driving in standard cockpit what PD gave us today because im just a casual racer since GT5 let alone driving in standard nor premium cockpit. Bumper cam's my fav after all :)
 
It seems to me that this blacked out interior is the foundation for making a detailed interior in the future. the blacked out cockpits look like the silhouette of what the interior would look like for the car. PD is probably going to update the interiors in either another patch, or (more likely) use it as a template for GT6

Seems to me the 'new' interiors are just there because PD positioned a camera where the driver sits inside standard cars. It's all black when looking into a standard car from the outside thus you get the same result inside.
Some of the open cockpit cars received some attention, like the Caterham and the Fomula GT, but for the most part they just added a camera, they didn't "model" or "create" anything.

They didn't even create a Camera, they just moved an existing one. Any open-topped car looks good, the Prowler even has a working dial (the tach I think).
 
Not a big fan of the Standard cockpits, or the Premium ones with lousy visability for that matter, because what good is an accurate model if you can't see well out of it? They could make a special GT car with the ultimate cockpit view that included a HUD for the speedo like the 09 Vette, or just concentrate on modeling more convertibles like the Cobra, which except for the lousy rear view, has one of the best and easier to see out of cockpits in the game. I think they could find a car with small c Pillars and no roof overhang and go to town making a sweet specialty cockpit car.
 
I don't get it why people complaining about the standard interior views ? Try Bumpercam... Since GT2 I'm using this low-point, the bumper cam, even with the most premium cars I still race with the bumper or roofcam. Also better sound and view.

And then they say: Noooh, I want to simulate that I am in that car, driving around like a pro !!

I do have another opinion: Gran Turismo isn't the Real Driving Simulation ! You don't have the G-forces, no feeling with the car etc etc etc.

But Gran Turismo is the real Racing Simulator !! I love racing, watching Formula1 and WTCC, indoorkarting and many other series. I had also many other racing games, but there isn't a game with the same feeling you have your first car and racing it round a track. It's pure motorsports for me, whatever the viewpoint is, the better the speed-expierence is, the better I simulate I am a race car driver !

Try to race an endurance race with the Minolta LMS car, with the black cardboard view, after a while you don't see the black interior anymore...It's that shaky that with dashboard-textures you will be sick in 10 minutes ! ;)

Even that looks better then blacked out cockpits. All they had to do was render the dashboard and steering wheel. And make it look like the above picture.

Just saying it would be a lot better if the simplified cockpit looked like the photo created in paintshop pro.
