Instead of complaining about how much you dislike GT5, or what is wrong with it, you should CONTRIBUTE ways to have fun with GT5 the way it is now!

For every wonderful, constructive thread suggesting race ideas, great Top Gear Challenges, tire suggestions to make the game more realistic, etc..., there are twice as many complaining about things to an audience who already

1: Knows the same problems because we all play the same damn game

2: Is playing the game and enjoying it in spite of some minor annoyances.

3: Knows there is a section dedicated for bugs (ie, complaints if you'd like).

The most pathetic thing I've seen in my 26 years of existence was a video, of a grown man, obviously in his thirties, driving around town while complaining about how the shadows ruined the game.

This melodramatic, hyperbolic BS needs to stop now. We are all tired of it.

The things that make GT Planet great--the user-contributions that go toward suggesting exciting ways to play the game as it is--are being drowned out by pointless (because it won't change anything) whining.

I'm, not going to point out the whole irony of this... I do agree with you though.
GT5 has it's problems but i still love it to death.
Complaining is OK, but instead of making countless threads and side-traking countless others, why not do it all in one place?
an official complaining forum. FYI, this thread would go in their too :cool::cool::cool:

I agree with you. PD has shown that they're all working to make the game better, even after the release, giving us updates regularly, so I'm pretty sure that they would fix some "bugs" that many people are complaining about. But even if PD don't fix them, I'm happy with the game, and i will continue to play it, regardless the small things that "affects" the game. I don't care about shadows or other little things, because the experience Gt5 can give to us is huge.

When I find a problem in GT5, I make a thread on the forum to see if it's just me or if anyone else is having the same problem.
Then maybe a temporary workaround may be created from the thread.

Go drifting. Its not real racing I know, but it takes different skills to master it.

Get a RWD premium and go mental with all aids off, then take a photo of your car disappearing in a cloud of tyre smoke (if you can find a shot that isnt pixelated as hell, whoops i shouldn't complain and yes, hell is in pixels!!!?!?!) Awesome

Spice things up in the bedroom! I gave my partner a try in a SLS AMG (she has very little skill/experience with GT) and tried to keep up in a stock Yaris (I used Autumn Ring mini). Great fun for a night in and the GF/wife doesn't get neglected!

I say complaints are a good thing, we all have some so it's a great commonality too. If it wasn't for complaints less things would be fixed, the coding communities call this trouble shooting or alpha/beta testing. Internet forums are a great way to vent them out. When I see a complaint thread I feel good because I know this community is helping to make the game I enjoy most a little better. I say nay, and hopefully polyphony uses this awesome resource.

The irony is you did :)

Any way we don't just complain because we enjoy complaining, there is a slim hope that the feedback will find it's way to Sony/PD and they will realise they can't get away with anything less than perfection.

I remember when I played GTAIV, it didn't have the customization and shopping features of San Andreas. But overall, GTAIV feels and looks better than San Andreas. Same feeling when I got GT5...
