They look quite nice from a start, I reckon if you start getting into editing them with software (GIMP, Paintshop Pro, Photoshop etc.) you would really finish them off

May I suggest, when you upload your pics to Imageshack, to click the "Remove size/resolution bar from thumbnail?" thing. Will just make it look a little neater

And also, maybe work on presentation, like centering your pictures and putting 3 thumbnails in one row?
