Could I race a Corvette ZR1 RM if i wanted as long as it was 470 hp and 1250 kg?
If so then I'm good to go

No for two reasons:

1. There is already two corvettes, one pro, one AM.
2. The ZR1 has WAY more torque because of the supercharger and therefore is quite a bit quicker.

If you wanted to run a ZR1 you could do it in GTE-Am as no-one else has chosen the vette yet, but I will probably restrict the power a bit more.

I definately feel that the R10's power handicap may need to be slightly decreased due to the result Sean hit (depending on weather stealth is faster than the stock version). It feels slow in the corners, but damn fast in a straight line. Only a small drop should do it, just to level those times.

I can happily run in the AM class with a normal ZR1, not a RM one if you want. I'm fine for extra handicap.

This makes no sence chris, if it has a power handicap, that means its had its power dropped already. The handicap being decreased would mean giving it more power -_- XD

No a power handicap means its given power because its not as good as other lmp's. So the power is increased to compensate it's handicap. It sounds backwards though.

Not being funny but that still didn't make sence...

How will you regulate the different classes?

I guess its like a golf handicap - a handicap in reference to benefitting something which isn't quite up to scratch, rather than taking away performance. Yet another complication with the english language.

With you on this!

You see handicap and it automatically make you think disadvantage or restricted.

i'll take the pescarolo hybrid psn:posiloan

Could it please be confirmed I can race a ZR1 (not RM if you want) in the AM class please?
I can also race a Z06 if you want.

The Z06 definately, James is busy and will be away till this evening, so he'll likely consider the ZR1 tonight for you.

Thanks mate

Thanks mate

It'll be easier just to run the Z06 mate. It's regs have been set for it's lap times so just use that to keep things a bit simpler if you can.

OK then thats fine with me.

Mate... you don't run this ok? James has already sorted **** out and when he gets on he'll sort out who is driving what.

Yes you can.

I will get around to sorting out who is driving what and setting a date. Just wait, I'm busy at work atm but this will be going ahead.

Patience is a virtue my friend.

Hi Guys, just letting you know that this IS still going to go ahead. Most likely the weekend of 12th / 13th of November.

I apologise this is taking so long to organise but I've got a lot going on with work at the moment and any quality time I do get is generally spent with the Mrs.

As I said please bear with me and I will get things running. In the mean time if Chris or someone is ok to do some more Holomogation testing we need the SLS and the R35 TC testing.

Cheers

J

I am quite interested in this, I've been looking at fledgling series' to try and find a championship to race in and this seems perfect as it may well develop into a championship. Would like to run the R10 if I do decide to do it- depends on the time as I don't get on that often.
Also what tire restrictions are there?
