This is to check for interested drivers!

The recent Worldcup saison 4 has been cancelled.

There are drivers around, that really liked the spirit,close and hard racing and fair surroundings.

The new championship tread will follow tomorrow, Sunday March 31

2nd training race:
Nürburgring Nordschleife

In the Free practice lobby mics/headsets will be allowed.
Much easier to communicate than to struggle with the pad.
We will do a 1 Lap race to warm up.

Then we will leave the free practice lobby for the qualification/race lobby.

The timer will be set to 20minutes, then the race will start automaticly.

One vital thing: don`t quit.Leaving upsets the lobby.
And the rest of the racers.:grumpy:
Stay in the pits until the race is over.

The lobby will be a open lobby and set with:

Participants - 12 max.
Race Quality - High
Voice Chat - Disabled*
Car Restrictions - Ferrari F1
Power - 740 cv/ 729 bhp/ 544 kw

Grid order - Fastest First
Race Finish Delay - 180 sec.

Surface Water - 40%

Remaining settings will be kept as in default.

*Applicable at the race lobby only.

The race will be on Sunday March 31 and will have the following time table (in GMT+0)

19.30 - practice lobby opens
20.30 - practice race (10 min aprox.)
20.50 - race lobby opens
21.00 - 20 min.* qualify starts
* The automatic countdown will be used.

Explanation for outsiders:

He is accused to have used a hacked/improved F10.
AFAIK the first other driver than the F10 WC founder to have won a race.
But there is no proof!
I personally have no doubt, because DrAug and I spend hours swapping setups and tryed endlessly to improve the car.I could see his progress.

( he's just a better driver )
 

^ Wouldn't that become expensive over time though, especially if you're winning races fairly?

I'll be up for this. And don't worry, no hacked cars here (not that I even know how to generate hybrid cars).

The Training race on thursdays was one of the really good ideas.

One gets to know each other and can learn a bit about strategy.

We`ll see , but from my point of view there could be the first get together.

What track? Suggestions?

Mr. Comedian. So I have to call this out. When you're trying to convince people that your car is legit; don't make typos on your specs.

engine at 100% where i get 736HP , these 2 brings me at 890PP!"

Pretty sure they end at 726 HP.

How about we get our F10s from the same source? We could get team colors finally, oooo.

I suppose there is nothing stopping someone from tweaking it afterwards, but no one should complain about some non-red ones. I know many are opposed to "cheating" in your game, but I wonder how many have done a Lvl 24 ticket regen or perma-shared expensive cars early on. Or those who joined me in the FGT vs Ferrari F1 rooms. I loved those. Those are all cheating the game, and not using it how the designers intended (or are allowed to in the Ferrari case). It's just that this new hack is a bit more destructive if used inappropriately.

If you guys want to put me down as a possible reserve driver I don't have time for a full season but it's worth checking in with me to see if I have a given sunday off or not. I might be able to fill in if my schedule works. Unfortunately I can't race this sunday but maybe next.

For the record, I love IP, great guy, but I think this was handled poorly and it wasn't fair to jump to conclusions on Aug so quickly without first seeing if there was a way for aug to prove he was legit.

Unless it's blatantly obvious I assume everyone here wouldn't be bothered trying to win if it was fake, there's no fun in that.

Also, now that I'm thinking about it, Aug I noticed you posted your tune. I'm willing to trade my tune with anyone else who wants to trade theirs with me. I like that openness because on one hand I like tuning but on the other hand I like it when driver skill is the most important thing. PM me if you want to swap tune info. Cheers!

Edit: BTW that isn't the first time IP has lost, he got beat first season at Tokyo.

Obviously since the last race we all had, there's been one question: did aug cheat?



I may be willing to run in this, depending on timing. I have an extra question for you guys though, did any of you notice strange things in any of the races? Tyres not heating properly, lower grip than at other times and additional tyre wear? I did, on several occasions, but when driving in non championship races I was fast and had no issues. In short, something was up, whether someone (not necessarily you aug, honestly not accusing you of anything, I said I like you and I meant it... despite your nationality :sly:) was cheating, or there were a few people with many hybrids causing glitches (only two hybrids here, an X2010 and a blue F2007 with no other changes), I don't know, but something felt wrong. Just my opinion and any accusations are in the reader's imagination.

BTW, it wasn't pressure that caused me problems, I've played pool for money a few times and in competitions a lot, pretty resistant to it.

It could have been full room. Very rare to have it filled up the brim with 16. High Quality too. Low quality I feel is best for full rooms. If 10-14 are in then maybe standard. High is good for a few people up to maybe 10.

I suppose you could be right in that hacks were causing trouble. I doubt there were hacks YET but it is a possibility.

I like the fair competitive and close racing with you guys!

And since I got around to understand it: I love the F10!

Even more precise:

On last sunday I was sweating like hell, drove the wheels off my car, and on those few laps "in the zone" it felt nearly better than sex.

It really only feels better than that in a real car on a real track and in the zone.
In my case the Nordschleife.

( I had to write it this way, because otherwise my wife will kill me :sly: )

So, record laptimes are of no interest to me.I normally got lapped at least once.More often twice.Who will be first when everyone is the fastest?

I dont like the idea of coloured F1 simply because it is not able in gt5 unless you 'hack' gt5. I don't believe that anyone in this field would change aerodynamics/bhp/weight on the F1 or something like that, but I think if you are already in touch with a hacked car you have already broken the rules.

I joined an online-f1-lobby yesterday. I noticed some of the f1 cars were in another colour, and the only cars which were unnatural faster were the coloured one.

In short: I think coloured F1 is a bad idea mostly because if we get new members, and they join in coloured F1, it shows that they know how to hack a car and if they are already able to hack a F1, how much more are they able to do with the car?

gian , i have bhp i think because my f1s all go until 736...
i think my game use Bhp while yours have Hp.
i can't say more because i don't know more about it .
 
btw , i joined a great team (TAM) TheAutomotiveMayhem.com
and noticed there that using low grip tires gives a magnificent feedback , so i think racing soft tires are just to easy :)
you guys think we can use comfort tires or racing hard at least .
try the f10 on comfort softs , to me it's more realistic as the times are way closer to reality and feeling to the car is Completely different .
about tirewear , with low grip tires you can't continue driving with 10% left on your tires as you'll spin and spin again :)

So as the italians always have something longer :sly: the french have their own measurement as well!

Set your PS3 to french.( :scared: ) and voila: 736 CH..evaus.

I had considered that, but if you look at the results of the last practise race and the first championship race I had solid finishes, then in the next two races I did I was well out of the points. Just did some driving last night and realised I've become much faster since the start of the championship, so unless everybody else (most of whom have much more experience of competitive F1 races than me) had suddenly improved as well, I don't see how it could have happened.

I cant speak for anybody else mate but I know I've improved since last season thanks to people sharing setups. I was the same last season. I was finishing in the points then I think i came 14th or whatever at Grand Valley Reverse, 1st race this season. It's true that the strength of the field has risen, and with the new fast guys like you its just got alot harder to finish in the top 10.

I welcome all the new racers. It gives me the desire to try to be faster and out-do myself.
 
that's why i initially joined this serie , to Impove myself , i did it , no congrats , just guys thinking i hacked my car , that's why i'm diappointed.
 
Check IP's history if he enters a series and dosent smash the competition everyweek he leaves or in your case throws his furry dice out the cockpit and pulls the shutters down.:indiff: Im sure you guys having 1 or 2 different drivers winning each week will be far more enjoyable goodluck.👍

Btw Not sharing setups is the biggest 👎 especially when some are so much quicker than others never makes sense to me!:yuck:
