Dunno. I just tried it with:

Sport Exhaust
Chip
Oil Change
Sport Suspension w/ 3f/3r dampers and 1.5f/1.0r camber
Super Slicks
Stage 1 Weight Reduction

On Apricot Hill. Best time was 1.34.xxx. Stock Suspension was a little vague. Well controlled, but wishy-washy on center. The sport suspension was a big improvement. The camber adjutment made the tail much more controllable.

I'll fiddle with it more later.

I'll have to give this a go. :) miata, can you please tell me your full list of mods for the cars you used please? :)

weight reduction 3
Super softs
full suspension
I am not sure about the engine make up at this point, at work, but when I get home I'll post
triple clutch
racing gears
cust LSD
carbon drive
balanced brakes
brake pads
oil change
the full monty basically except the engine

I bought everything for all three of the cars. Then I sat around and fiddled with them until I had the same horsepower figures. I did the full set up for suspension and trans. My set-up was identical for each car and I ran a comparo.

Oh ok, thanks guys :) Will try to do this soon as possible :)

Okay, here are my results on Midfield Raceway:
Tuning
Suspension
16.5, 15.5

2.0, 1.0
0.0, 0.0

Brakes

Gears
A 30
Other
ASM = 0
TCS = 1

Honda S2000 Type-V (379 bhp)
Lap 1 - 1:17.479 (247km/h)
On the big hairpin, the car just wanted to start drifting after i hit the rumble strip, so i lost quite a bit of time on that corner.
Lap 2 - 1:16.647 (248km/h)
Forgot to switch into the third gear and lost a bit of speed (revs maxed out).
Lap 3 - 1:16.760 (250km/h)
Lost it a bit on the last chicane (smoke) and didn't have much speed coming onto the lengthy straight.
Lap 4 - 1:15.861 (246km/h)
An Average run, but it wasn't really fast enough on the lap.
Lap 5 - 1:15.235 (251km/h)
A better run than the last one, thought i'd pushed it to the max here.

Ranking 4th in the standings, i don't really like the car. Felt VERY blocky and had a bit of understeer.

Honda S2000 (371bhp)
Lap 1 - 1:15.853 (249km/h)
Improvement was needed on this lap, a little lack luster though.
Lap 2 - 1:16.300 (247km/h)
A lot of sliding around on this lap, that's what happened and the hairpins got me there.
Lap 3 - 1:15.357 (245km/h)
Goodish lap, improvement needed.
Lap 4 - 1:16.104 (247km/h)
Gear switching again. Forgot to switch and lost speed.
Lap 5 - 1:14.998 (247km/h)
Good run, best this car has to offer.

Ranked 3rd, better steering than the Type V, but i think it missed the 2bhp it was down on the Spoon and Mugen.

Spoon S2000 (373bhp)
Lap 1 -1:15.554 (247km/h)
Disgruntling run, very discouraging.
Lap 2 - 1:15.421 (246km/h)
A little better, but still had to improve. My goal was to beat the Honda now.
Lap 3 - 1:15.066 (248km/h)
Better than last, i was getting closer.
Lap 4 - 1:14.941 (247 km/h)
Beat both Honda's, and the last lap would be consolation only.
Lap 5 - 1:14.921 (248km/h)
Phew, didn't have a great straight speed at the end, lost about .200 of a sec on it...

Ranked 2nd, great acceleration, but not too much top-end speed.

Mugen S2000 (373bhp)
Lap 1 - 1:14.627 (252 km/h)
Well, won it on the first lap, very suprising. Very amazing.
Lap 2 - 1:15.401 (251km/h)
A little slow on the gas.
Lap 3 - 1:14.800 (249km/h)
Another sub-15 time, great work from the Mugen.
Lap 4 - 1:14.957 (251km/h)
Still sub-15, but seemed to be getting slower this time.
Lap 5 - 1:14.092 (252)
Best till last, naturally.

Best. S2000. Ever.

[tomorrow will come the 400m / 1000m results]

Well, you'll need to win one of the cups two times (i think it's the Honda one) to win the Mugen and the Spoon, a different one to win the regular Honda, and you can buy the S2000 Type-V.

it is the amatuer Type - r meeting you need to beat
for the Mugen aznd Spoon, the spoon is on the left and Mugen I think is on the top

This was a great turn out in my eyes for this race. Why don't we take this a step further and mess around with the Acura and Honda NSXs to see which one is the best. there are 4 different factory cars if I remember correctly. I think some good tracks for them would be Apricot Hills or Special Stage Router 11. post if your interested.

I'm interested. Then we can do the Evo's, then the
WRX's, then some more...;)

I will do them on Laguna Seca.

400m: Mugen S2000 - 11.976 @ 195 km/h
_____ Spoon S2000 - 12.071 @ 193 km/h
_____ Honda S2000 Type-V - 12.203 @ 193 km/h
_____ Honda S2000 - 12.230 @ 193 km/h

1000m: Mugen S2000 - 21.559 @ 249 km/h
______ Spoon S2000 - 21.715 @ 248 km/h
______ Honda S2000 Type-V - 21.856 @ 248 km/h
______ Honda S2000 - 21.922 @ 248 km/h

MAX: Mugen S2000 - 296.6 km/h
____ Honda S2000 Type-V - 295.7 km/h
____ Honda S2000 - 295.7 km/h
____ Spoon S2000 - 295.4 km/h

So guess who won?
4 points for a win, and these were the standings before the tests

1st - Mugen (4pts)
2nd - Spoon (3pts)
3rd - Honda (2pts)
4th - Type-V (1pt)

And after:

1st - Mugen (16pts)
2nd - Spoon (10 pts)
3rd - Type-V (7 1/2 pts)
4th - Honda (6 1/2 pts)

Good results, I needed to tune gears more for the car test on 400m 1000m. I am up for the Evos and WRXs too. Let me start setting it up and then throw it up in this forum. It will probably take me until my day off to do this the way I am looking to. I am even thinking of doing a Manufacture comparision of all the cars in say like Nissan to race against themselves.

Midfield Raceway, Medium Race Tires:
1. Lancer Evo V GSR (488hp): 1:12.804
2. Lancer Evo VII GSR (485hp): 1:13.033
3. Mine's Lancer Evo VI (490hp): 1:13.253
4. Lancer Evo VI GSR (495hp): 1:13.258
5. Lancer Evo IV GSR (496hp): 1:13.705

1. Lancer Evo VII Rally Proto (478hp) 1:12.437
2. Lancer Evo VI Rally(464hp)1:12.779

Used same set-up for every car including rally cars.
The Evo IV's lack of down force definately cost it a competitive time

Midefield Raceway, Medium Race Tires:

2. Skyline GT-R V-spec II(R32,J) (402hp): 1:16.706
3. Skyline GT-R V-spec II(R34,J) (411hp): 1:17.169

Midfield Raceway, Tuned Skylines, Medium Race Tires
1. Nismo GT-R LM Road Car (R33,J) (619hp): 1:10.417
2. Nismo Skyline GT-R R-tune (R34,J) (623hp): 1:10.927
3. Nismo 400R(J) (625hp): 1:10.942

5. Nismo Skyline GT-R S-Tune (R32,J) (616hp): 1:12.524

Hey, i reckon you should put them in a "near-stock" or just a bit lower hp, and give us a bit of evaluation on the tuning, and maybe do a drag-strip test. ;) Just some thoughts, but it looks great so far.
