In the last couple days i've started to get connection problems on my PS3.

Im running wired through my PC, as i've always done, no problems whatsoever.

It just starts to disconnect for no obvious reason.
All wiring is connected just fine, my internet is not even close to be overloading or nothing.
If I try connecting my Xbox with the same wire from my PC, its stable and fast as normal.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Im thinking its something to do with the PS3 settings, but I can't seem to find any errors, and when it is working, all test are fine.

Is it only during a game? Or basically right after you log onto PSN.
I can login to PSN, browsing PS store or friends list or whatever for a couple minutes, load a game (GT5 for example), play a seasonal event or 2, race a couple races online, and it suddenly disconnects.
Sometimes I can play for maybe an hour or two, and it disconnects.

Every now and then it disconnects when im loading any game, but not to often.

It rarely, but has happened, disconnects while only staying on XMB.

Sometimes I think the PS3 has a random timer where it disconnects, lol.

Does it give you any error codes, or just "You have been disconnected fromm the local area network"

I know sometimes the NAT settings of a router can make the PS3 act a little funny. To configure that what you can do is type cmd into the Start menu. Then enter ipconfig, and you should get a some info. Look for Default Gateway, right it down or whatever then type it into your internet search bar and you should be prompted to enter a password (usually they are just User: admin, Admin, user, User Password: password, Password or admin, Admin) 90% of the time the user name is admin and the pass is password.

Now you should be into your Routers configuration options where you can change your NAT to open, but this also decreases security slightly since its a firewall and you are turning it off.

Most of the times it says that the wired connection was disconnected, though it hasn't.

Im just gonna get a new cable and see if it works, its only $2 anyway. :D
