Hello, recently I’ve been having problems with my Internet while on GTP. If I stay to long on a send screen [i.e. sending a PM] my Internet will close out unexpectedly. It will also kill any PM or reply I just typed. This will happen whenever I send a PM, add a post, start this tread [This is my 3rd time trying], or just hanging around doing nothing. It will cause me to restart my internet, log back in, and then I will try it again, and fail.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Can anybody help me?

Thanks

BLITZ

What browser and operating system are you using?

What do you mean by "close out"? Do you lose your internet connection itself? Does your network disconnect? Or does the browser just close its self?

Also, when you say that you have to "restart your connection", do you mean opening your browser again, or actually restarting the connection? (e.g rebooting the modem/router or disabling and re-enabling the connection)

The actual connection stays, but the program Safari will close and i have to restart it. When this happens I lose all the stuf i was doing/typing.:ouch:

Are you running any hacks/plugins, like SafariStand or InquisitorX or Saft? Also, what version of Safari are you running? (If you don’t know, go to Safari > About Safari.)

I have recently run a few tests on my computer and hopefully the problem will clear up soon.

One of my tests involves running Firefox to see if the problem still occurs.

I have recently started having similar problems with Safari. Not here, but with things like translaters. I had to try two different translaters on four separate tries before I could finally get something.

My guess is that it's not just you, and it's not just this site. Maybe my problems will get worse:scared:. I had always tought it was a combination of a bad program and a POS computer. (1.25GHz eMac:banghead:)

I run Safari at home all the time, and have never had any issues. Occasionally, Image Shack will crash Safari, but that's all.

I use Opera Mini, no problems at all, except the occasional "out of memory" message. J2ME only though.
