Bob, are you gonna run WRC or the Group B cars? or even a mixture!.

Im still amazed that the Groub B in 1987 (i think this year) did 2 laps around an F1 track and 1st place would of qualified 6th in that years F1 race only 2 seconds behind pole!!, imagine if they had more than 2 laps!. INSANE!

The Car choice will be...let's say "Unique." (Still being finalized ATM)

Looks like 5 Races should work well! 👍

I think it was the Peugeot "Uber" Rallye car that out-accellerated a F-1 Car thru 4th gear WITH the Co-Pilot Onboard! :eek: Of course the lack of DF actually hurt the F-1 ride 'till it got going a bit...but Still!!! :eek:
 
Another track suggestion: Autumn Ring.

It's a small, tight course. No long straights so short gearing would be necessary. Prefect for the Rallye cars. Fierce competition here.
 
OK...Just a quick post to keep everyone's enthusiasm up! 👍

#1 I think "Teams" are a great idea but I'd prefer to make it an additional "Statistic." I'm NOT sure how well the "New Format" will lend itself to a team structure but we'll certainly find out! 👍

#2 Final "Testing" done in 2 of the 3 Classes!

#3 That's RIGHT! THREE Classes this time. :eek::eek::eek: All quite different from each other. You may compete in ONE, TWO or all THREE. EACH Class will have a Champion PLUS a Grand Champion incompassing all three classes!

#4 Strictly a "Tease"...The first letter of each of the three classes is...(In NO particular order) "O", "R" & "S" ...O.G. :D

Open, Race, and Street? Maybe 'Oh my god this is fast', 'Ring the airport to let them know a low flying plane is about to do laps', and 'S 🤬 this is insane'

You are correct Small_Fryz, the year was 1986, the car was the Delta S4 (driven by the late Henri Toivonen), the track was Estoril in Portugal. His time was 1'18.100 while Ayrton Senna's pole position time for that year was 1'16.700. Rather incredible I'd say. 👍

The Nissan Bluebird is from Ice Arena - Hard in Special Conditions. Not the easiest car to win :p

I've just tested one of the Tracks suggested & it's FANTASTIC! :eek: Don't think I've EVER had so much fun in a Rallye Ride! 👍

THREE Venues confirmed...looking for TWO more. BTW: Have discovered another "Oddity" we'll get to see, probably about Round #3! ...O.G. :D
 
I need something to knock off the 'rust'...I've always liked the idea of racing rally cars on the tarmac. Sounds like big fun!

Hang in there bleurabbit7! 👍 I don't anticipate getting any podium finishes...and I'm the HOST! :eek: The purpose of my Races is to have FUN & believe me these things are all a "Hoot" to drive at the venues i've found so far! ...O.G. :D
 
I'm looking forward to it. I'm not worried about winning or losing. I am in it for the fun of it. 👍
