Hello all i’ve heard that this is an and amazing place to communicate with other Gran Turismo players. I’ve been playing Gran Turismo for about four iterations now. I’m knocking on 60 years old so I seem to be stuck between the D and C driver skill level. I play on a Fanatec Vision GT Bundle on PS5 which works most of the time, but sometimes the only thing that doesn’t work is the FFB at all (don’t get me started). I also have a Next Level Racing F-GT ELITE 160 SCUDERIA FERRARI EDITION rig.

I’m excited to share feedback on the game and my controller issues

  • Where are you from? ----- Mid-western Poland, the city of Toruń
  • When did you start playing racing games? ----- 2007, if I remember correctly. My first game was Need for Speed: Underground.
  • Do you play with a steering wheel? If so, what kind do you use? ----- I haven't played with a steering wheel yet, but I want to!
  • What other games do you enjoy? ----- RPG, FPS and Third-Person Action games.
  • What are you most looking forward to doing in the community? ----- To discover great racing games on PC, of course!

Been playing GT games since the original ps and can’t quit playing them. It’s the only way to get my frustration out about being a failed racing driver haha
 
Hello everybody, I'm Bram from Indonesia.

How did you find GTPlanet? -> I find it when I was searching for tuned cars for gran turismo 6 and 5. Then came the GT4 spec II and GT 5 master mod, so I've decided to dive in more.
When did you start playing racing games? -> Is top gear in SNES counted as one? :Dif yes, then 4 years-old. 31 years ago.
Do you play with a steering wheel? If so, what kind do you use? -> Not yet. Planning to get Logitech G29, but family budget came first so Daddy had to content with controller and keyboard for now.
What other games do you enjoy? RPG. Baldur's Gate, Fire Emblem, that kind of stuff.
What are you most looking forward to doing in the community? -> Tuning cars guide, gran turismo/forza infos or mods, tips & tricks to get better at driving/sim racing
 
Hi there, you can call me Dex, i'm just some random kid Indonesia who likes Gran Turismo. I guess that's all i have to say.

Now, answering time!

1. How did you find GTPlanet? -> I once found this place quite some time ago while searching for rebadges. It's only now i joined because i became more interested in racing games.

2. Where are you from -> Indonesia. Southern Jakarta specifically!

3. When did you start playing racing games? -> If were talking console-based racing games, i started playing those earlier this year. (June or July if i remember correctly) The first game i emulated was Gran Turismo 4 NTSC-U.

4. Do you plat with a steering wheel? If so, what kind do you use? -> No, i do not play with a steering wheel. I used my drawing tablet to emulate games which is too crappy to work with and besides, i just use the virtual directional buttons on the emulator to steer, i'm more of a buttons guy.

5. What other games do you enjoy? -> Anything car related. I'm most interested in car games that involve car dissasembly like My Summer Car, Car Mechanic Simulator, Street Legal Racing: Redline, etc. I also enjoy the two 3D Platformers i've ever played, Lego Marvel Superheroes and Plankton's Robotic Revenge.

What are you most looking forward to doing in the community? -> Just the usual stuff, make some talks, share my opinions, help out and maybe find some cool stuff along the way. Maybe i can also learn how to mod games for the time that i finally get a proper computer that can run the things needed for modding!

K, i guess that's all, Time for fun.

Hello, I discovered this forum thanks to searches related to simracing hardware.
I am from Spain.
I started in simracing in 2005 with a Logitech Momo, and since then I have used a Logitech Driving Force GT, Logitech G27, Thrustmaster T300, and now I am using a Logitech RS 50.
I enjoy all racing games, both on console and PC.

GT Planet found me doing a Google search for sim racing news. It seems to pop up a lot so I decided to look a little closer and become a member.

I’m from the Untied States by way of Dallas Texas. I started playing racing games back in the late 80’s like Pole Position and Out Run at the arcades. That lead to playing Grand Turismo on PS 1 and finally getting a taste of racing with a wheel years later.

I currently play LMU and ACC (mostly) with Simagic gear, Neo, Aplha, P1000’s.

Other games I enjoy are 3rd person shooters like Division, Tomb Raider games, Black Myth Wukong.

I’m mostly looking forward meeting new people learn new tips and tricks and getting news. Thanks for having me.

-I have known about gtplanet for a few years now but i haven't gotten around to registering until now
-im from the untied states
-I started playing racing games when I was around 5 years old
-I do play with a steering wheel and I have a thrustmaster t248 but I do want to upgrade in the future
-other games I enjoy are superhero games and action games

Been playing since gt1,car guy all my life. Used to play a wheel,but it got lost in a move. I only have 1 hand (thanks to a roman candle) so I reprogram the L1 and L2 as gas and brake. Works well.
