Well, I couldn't find one so I made this thread. :)

My name is Craig. . . I've been checking the site for news and tips the last few years but never really felt a need to join, but i figured it's much more rewarding to actually be a part of it than just look at from the outside.

So here I am :)

Yep. Also familiar with the "watch out for Famine" line i've seen a few times lol. I'm just frustrated with other forums that instantly flame and say stupid things, and this place seemed to be fairly void of that so it's nice to be able to come somewhere and deal with rational people.

Also, does EVERY post have to be approved or checked or something? That's a bit 1984 IMO.

Edit: guess not, just submitted this one fine. What's the deal with that?

If I recall correctly, it's an anti-spam measure, confirming whether or not you're a blatant spambot -- eg. if your first post had been "GREAT DEALS NOW AT AMAZON.COM!!!!!" you wouldn't be around here anymore. ;)
