I got around to finally inverting my clubsport pedals.

I need to get some smaller bolts, cut off the extra tubing and figure out how to get that rug to lay flat. That rug droves me crazy. It makes my steering wheel move alot more then it did when I had it in a room with no rug.

My question though is what do people do about the throttle? The brake and clutch feel really good but the throttle goes way to far under the frame when you press it. It just doesn't feel right at all. i really don't want to shorten the throw, but I don't know what else to do. If you put it at a higher angel then the brake and clutch feel weird.

Also Does anyone know of a decently priced hard mat or something I could put under my setup so that it has more support under it to stop it from swaying left and right? I've thought about cutting a piece of plywood and just bolting it to the plywood for more support, but plywood would look worse then a wrinkled up rug.

Does anyone also know what size of shock that is on the new V2 pedals brake. I'm guessing its of a RC car, but I'm wondering what scale and what shock it actually is.

Accelerator Pedal: Back when Fanatec still sold the CSP Tuning kit, people would substitute the stock accelerator pedal with the extra pedal supplied in the kit. Fanatec no longer sells this kit.

One work-around is to get a set of DSD Tilton-style pads (at bottom of linked page). That is what I have on this picture of my pedals in inverted fashion...or get some 3rd party after-market pedals and drill them to fit the CSPs arms.

Foot Plate: Something like this Momo plate might be the way to go, GTP member Nicka117 has shots of it in many of his 80/20-related rig threads both here and at ISR.

Or you could also get one of Fanatec's CSP Pedal's Color Kits and kill 2 birds with one stone.
It comes with 3 universal pedals, and an extra foot plate you could re-configure for your application.

CSP V.2 RC Shock: See post #18 on this GTP CSP V.2 Intro thread, this is the same CPV RC shock the CSP V.2 comes with. The RC shock spring on the CSP V.2 is 83mm long, 20mm in diameter.

The picture on the Tatami mat in the above-referenced post is the prototype Fanatec sent to the Japanese modder Teki who actually designed the brake setup for V.2s. Fanatec just has it colored silver for the production V.2s.

Here is the link to CPV's product page (also in the linked post above).

I have had both CSP V.1s and V.2s inverted in my rig, the stock CSP V.2 RC shock will fit in inverted position.

It's not the actuall pedal I don't like. It's the feel of the throw after it's inverted. It's now working out with the playseat anyway. The entire seat loses alot of stability when you start using a none attached pedal tray.

Please excuse the part of my reply that does not address that then.
I have no advice for that one, my accelerator throw feels fine inverted.

...but I changed mine out for the stiffer clutch spring of the CSP V.1s...
...then used the heaviest clutch spring from V.1 tuning kit on the clutch.

When I inverted my CSP V1 I used the heavier springs from the tuning kit for both the clutch pedal and the throttle pedal.

@ JogoAsobi, very good post above with lots of information. Kudos to you.
