Hi,

I'm not sure whether this is the correct place to put this but me and a friend are having massive issues seeing each other online. We both have NAT 2 DMZ setups and have no problems with other people but when we try to join each others rooms we get an error "incompaitabilty with room hows" and then when we join another room we can't see each other on the track... This happens EVERY time we play each other as some people have suggested just turning it on and off again works. It's extremly annoying and we feel like we've tried everything... Has anybody had this or know how to fix it?

Thanks
Tom

Im not sure if it will work for you but it worked for me and my friend having the exact same problem

both of you
In GTLife Go to
options > Network
then clear system cache

Hope this helps

Im also familiar with this problem, not for myself, but other have problem to see different cars. Lets face it, the online implementation in gt5 is bad, reminds me of the stability you had in 1998 or something with all the cable modems 56k.

To be honest, I don't mind it being unstable, but the fact I can't drive against my mate ever is a bit of a joke... Hopefully this will fix it.

I have noticed GT5 prefers to sign itself into the PSN rather than being already signed in, so I sign out of the PSN, restart the game and let the game sign into the PSN, clear my cache and this usually cures the 774 error

Our ridiculous solution is for me to set my phone as a wifi hotpsot and go through that... Even though that makes it nat 3 and not nat 2 like it is on the router... Sony sort this out!
