Iphone 4 advice.

Go to Starbucks. Pick up the free card for the songs that they're playing.

Piracy, or illegal activities shouldn't be discussed. Getting free music is usually illegal..

Oh ok. Do they play dubstep? :3

I know I'm looking for a legal app approved by apple for the job. And thanks.

Well they aren't for download but there is an app called Tune In Radio that let's you listen to almost literally any radio station anywhere in the world. It's via Internet connection though so I don't know what kind of data plan you but over wifi or unlimited data it's a fantastic app.

My uncle missed a lot of the Vancouver radio stations when he moved to Australia and listens to them all the time from home. Pretty cool.

Also try Lastfm or Spotify, as i think Spotify has a free trial at least. Also free radio stations. Also app store has a Dubstep Radio player called "Dub FM Player" (catchy name) they specialise in just Dubstep stations and it's 69p.

Does Apple have Grooveshark? That's what I use on my Android - they had a special running for $5 a month, pretty much any/all music you can think of streams to your phone, with the option to download. Create your own playlists from their website with your account, which syncs to your phone, or you can search and create playlists directly from your phone via the app (which is really slick and works well, even on 3G - automatically throttles quality depending on bandwidth); OR you can just listen to Grooveshark radio, in which they have tons of categories. Great way to learn about new artists, or just folks you've never heard of.

EDIT: They do; http://mobile.grooveshark.com/iphone

Check the website out, that part is 100% free, you only have to pay if you want to run it on a mobile device. Worth every penny imo.

Free (and legal) dubstep? Go here. It's a collection of free releases that various artists have put out over the years.

And if you feel like buying any music, here's a good start:

That was not a good move in my opinion. It is just, just spammy.

Spammy as in providing a good resource of legitimately buying tracks that aren't available on iTunes? Or spammy as in being able to buy in the most common high quality format there is (320 CBR mp3) for the same price as a 256kbps AAC?

Your best free option would probably be Pandora's mobile app; search for 'dubstep' and enjoy.

Download YouStream from the Appstore, search a song and it will download it legal and you can hear it whenever you want even without WIFI;)
