iPhone 4 GS: video output to notebook / TV

Is this possible at all?

Reason behind this is simple: my mobile contract with SFR contains access to several TV channels (using their "SFR TV" app) as well. In France you have to pay extra for cable TV access and I'm not watching much TV. However, if football / F1 is on...you get the idea.

You can use Apple TV to mirror to a monitor, or you can purchase an AV to apple output lead here for a HD TV. Or a VGA to apple output lead here. Both from the Apple.com/fr store for you

However, some apps recognise you are doing this and block you from doing it, an issue I have had with the iPad Love Film app, so you may want to check that out before purchasing a lead/apple TV
