^ hell yeah it is.
They've made some changes (or tweaks, rather), but nothing bad so far. they gave the cars 3d engines and added some chrome bits, on screen controls work well and you can adjust their size+on screen location.
GTA III on my damn phone... Mind Blown.

Not so much a game as just a brilliant piece of software.

djay.

Brilliant app. Allows you to mix your tunes from your library. Scratch, rewind, add loops, effects. Stunning.

I even just use it for normal playback for for iPhone. As your aware the iPhone, iPod doesn't come with an equaliser. This supersedes the standard player.

Oh 69p. It's a steal.

Tetris is addicting and if you ever wanted to listen to music but only specific songs without having to pick up your iPod and change it you can select exactly what songs you want to hear in what order.

2XL MX Offroad on android is really addicting. I can’t put my phone down. Cool graphics, the physics of the game is spot on, and the stunts you can do are really awesome!

Music+ is a replacement for Music and it allows you to queue music and search for lyrics instantly (provided you're connected to the Internet).

Solipskier's awesome as well 👍

Is there Temple Run for Android? I think I've seen others playing it, but I absolutely cannot find it on the Market.

Well apparently it is, but its not on Android Market. I haven't updated my software in forever, but I should still be able to find it.

Nevermind, still on Android 2.1. Gotta love answering my own questions.

That's pretty cool but wayyyyyy to steep of a price.

EA with a sale for July 4th by the way. All apps on iOS are $0.99. I picked up FIFA 12, Tiger Woods 12,and Monopoly Here and Now. Haven't played Monopoly yet but he other 2 look amazing on the ipad.

I got an ipad just recently for my birthday so I've been trying out games like crazy.

I recently got Kingdom Rush which is your standard Tower Defense but it's got decent depth and is one of the better tower defense games I've played. Definitely recommended.

Plants vs Zombies and Infinity Blade 2 are also fantastic but everybody knows about those already.

Oh and Batman Arkham City is on sale for $0.99 right now too and isn't bad. A lot like Infinity Blade but still good nonetheless.

There is an Infinity Blade Dungeons coming this year that has the graphics of Infinity Blade but gameplay looks exactly like Diablo. Can't wait for that to come out but I wonder how much space that will take up.

Check out new star soccer on IPhone/pad.
Maybe Android too, not sure.

Excellent 69p goodness. First ten games are trial but you will pull the trigger.

If you like Tower Defense games watch for the Sentinel series or Epic War TD to have their free sales occasionally.

Recently my brother got me into Galaxy on Fire 2, a space shooter where you have to navigate political issues between warring factions, trade commodities (mined, bought, salvaged, or stolen) to earn credits to buy new ships and parts or use items to build specialty items, all while helping to fight the new galactic threat known as the Void. It has a story mode, but has plenty of side missions to keep you busy as well. It's normally $4.99, but I've seen it as cheap as $0.99 for the iPhone version. The iPad HD version only has updated graphics, from what we can tell. It also now has an expansion that can be bought in-game for $4.99.

Ok thank you. I'll have to check those out when I get home. I do like tower defense on touch devices because it's easy to play and you can play for just a few minutes at a time which is what most of my gaming on it is.

So come on what are good iphone 5 games?

Real Racing 3 looks to be superb...

A game I have been loving on both the ipad 3rd gen and recently purchased iphone5 is "Vs Racing2". Bit like Super Sprint from Atari all those years ago.

I just recently purchased an Android Fusion 2 a couple weeks ago. I never played any games on any phones in my life until I got this phone. So playing games on phones is a VERY new experience to me.

With that said I have been trying a handful of games. All free.

1. Real Racing 3-very fun and insane graphics for a phone game. Very similar to Forza and GT. In fact the first race is on Laguna Seca. 👍
2. Hill climb Racing -Very fun side scroller that reminds me of Excitebike but this has full customization. Upgrade tires, suspension, and more. Very fun.
3. Words With Friends-very fun
4. WordFeud-Similar to Words with Friends
5. Draw something (Draw Free)-Very fun
6. Angry birds-fun in short bursts
7. Temple Run 2-didnt care much for this
8. Bike Race-Similar to ExciteBike in a good way.
9. Jetpack Joyride-Fun in short bursts
10. Jewl Stars-fun
11. Sky Burger-okay
12. Smash-okay
13. Toy Truck Rally 3d-okay
14. Word Search-Crossword puzzles. Quite fun

Games I will have to check out after visiting this thread.
1. Army Of Darkness
2. Parking Mania
3. Grand Theft Auto 3??
4. 2XL MX Offroad

My brother and I have recently been addicted to Space Agency on iOS. It was on sale for free when we got it, but I'm not sure if it still is.

Basically, you are creating space missions. It starts out with a few rocket parts available and you perform simple tasks, such as putting a satellite in orbit or orbiting in a crew capsule and splashing back down on Earth. In later missions you complete a moon landing and return home. Each mission has a goal with difficulty rankings based on cost of your rocket and the time to complete the mission. Each rocket part costs money and has different attributes. You can find more powerful/quicker ways to reach your target destination, but if you don't have the proper parts you may find yourself unable to correct minor course adjustments so you can accurately arrive at your target. The problem is you may have less fuel. Once you are on a mission you are controlling the spacecraft. You have to perform the roll program during launch, dock with a space station, match the rotational speed of the moon as you land, and keep your heat shields down when entering an atmosphere. And because this is space and science, the tiniest error can mean you have to start from scratch.

It is strategy game with timed mission with resource management, and physics-based puzzles. Definitely a nerd game. It does simplify things for the average gamer, by using generic speed and distance units and having orbital velocity for every moon, planet, and the sun be the same, which is indicated by green on your gauge. And distances are shrunk down a lot. I got Voyager to take a picture of all the exterior planets in under 20 minutes. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to play, but it is definitely targeted at those interested in space. And once you unlock a lot of rocket parts there is a free mission where you can go do whatever you want. It all exists within the same timeline as your campaign missions. Currently I am building a space station around another planet to use as a staging point for a manned landing.

Bad Piggies (free)
I got hooked on this game last year and forgot to mention it in this thread. If you like physics and creating vehicles to help you get from point A to point B then you will like this game. Its also VERY similar to Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.
