Ipod 5 email HELP!!!

Hey guys. Recently, I got a iPod 5, and I'm loving it! One problem though. I can't get email on it... I just get a message that tells me hat it can't connect to the gmail server I get the emails on my iPod 3, and its fine. They also come on my computer. They should come to me though because i have push set to every 15 min. Any fix would be appreciated.

It's a gmail, but its a site connected through gmail (like a domain for a company) what do you mean by settings? Btw they are the same as on my 3.

you should google the company. because if it's anything other than gmail or yahoo and it's custom email, they'll have different settings and ports you have to choose. for example, i had to set up my school email by googling it. they tell what ports and stuff you need to set up

Normaly Gmail and the likes (yahoo, hotmail, msn etc..) are configured automaticaly by your phone/device. It might be special for the ipod 5 but I had no trouble with an iphone 3/4.

The only mistake you could make is not telling that you're using that kind of email account (gmail/hotmail etc..) and then your ipod try to connect via pop3 that he can't find because you didnt set them up.
