I was on my iPod touch 2nd generation watching a video on safari then all of a sudden the screen goes white then it reboots.

I was looking this up on the Internet but it's mostly on jailbroken iPods which I'm not.

In a chat room someone said it's probily the screen about to go because hid did it for 3 months then he had to replace it.

Any help welcome!

I am on a iPod touch 2nd gen running on 4.2.1 and I'm not jailbroken.

Thanks.

I'm in the same situation as you hardware wise, and I have to ask - if you're watching a video, couldn't you just try Youtube? Unless you're obviously watching from elsewhere other than Youtube, in which case try find an app for the said place you'd be watching it from.

This website doesn't have an app.
Think it's todo with the site it's self?

The only kind of crashing I get is Safari shutting down and returning back to the app menu.

Mine's jailbroken, but I wouldn't think it's the jailbreak that's making mine do that.

I'd contact Apple about this, since it's not jailbroken they'll be able to give you assistance on this.

I don't need to contact Apple about this because I've had my iPod 2 for about 2 years and I got a iPod 4 for Christmas!

Anyway if mine was jailbroken I could always restore to the factory setting and then apple won't know it was jailbroken :D :P.
