The Zune software and bundle isn't as nice as iOS I feel, and despite all the Apple hate going on in here, they kind of have this bit of the market down solid. And MP count on the camera doesn't always indicate the quality - the 5MP camera on the iPhone 4 is generally much better than the 8MP camera on my HTC EVO.

Get something with physical buttons.

I realised after about a month that there was no way to skip songs without looking at the screen and that's really annoying if you're listening to music in the dark especially.

It's not that hard to change songs with an iPod Touch while it's in your pocket. Double tap the home button, tap the screen in the area where the next track button is and off you go.

I haven't paid attention to the DAP market in a while, but the Touch would be my first choice really. Good sound, awesome screen, great support and it's thin. Cowon might have an android touch DAP out too, I remember seeing one.

If you care about sound, Get a Walkman MP3. Sony Did release a Walkman With a Touch screen and you could go on the internet too. But it got discontinued a while ago. IMO Walkman MP3 Player's sound better then a iPod.

Well, I kinda agree. I much prefer the style of the Zune software, but iOS and iTunes are functionally more robust.

I love my 4th gen iPod Touch, which I bought after I accidentally broke my Zune HD. Every now and then I miss certain aspects of the Zune, but the iPod is overall a better package.

But in my opinion the Zune PC software is better than iTunes. It runs a bit slower, but it's a thousand times better looking and it's much less headache-inducing. I like iTunes, but sometimes it makes me want to curb-stomp babies.

With tablets, its a whole different game due to Honeycomb and the various devices on the market. You'll have to go test them all out, though the Kindle Fire is quite an interesting prospect for the sub 9" segment.

The new iPod touch is coming out soon enough and it's going to be the same as the iPhone meaning 1080p video. Lots of app with new ones all the time. Great screen and pretty damn good quality camera too.

I think he is referring to the fact you've started a ton of potentially "googleable" subjects lately along with a lot of "googleable" posts. Sure it's nice to get people's opinions or ask if people have experience with certain things but we don't need a ton of these sorts of topics.

He is saying why in the world would you post a thread about ipod touches with what a 3" screen? Then 4 pages later say your looking at tablets. Do some research on what you want and then with some knowledge come here and say this is what I'm thinking about and does anybody have any opinions. For example your wondering if anybody has some experience with advantages of an Android based tablet over an Ipad or maybe a 10 inch tablet or a 7 inch.
