Great news! Let's hope they don't screw this up and release a good game. With a good and engaging career mode this game has a lot of potential.

I love how iRacing was a breakaway from Papyrus only to go full circle to make a NASCAR and an Indycar game

Let’s see if their Nascar game supports it, as this presumably will run on the same engine.

Ah never mind, it’s using the Exocross engine which as far as I know doesn’t have VR support even on PC.

Based on your profile, I’m guessing St. Pete? iRacing recently announced that they’re already working on the track, likely because of this upcoming IndyCar game. The only tracks that are up in the air are Thermal Club, Detroit and Toronto.

Edit: Forgot about Arlington. Hopefully all these tracks are under development for IndyCar and iRacing.

Correct. Since the NASCAR Truck Series is also visiting the Streets of St. Pete next year, I figured it would be a matter of time for iRacing to start working on the circuit.

I'm heavily biased, but St. Pete is an excellent street circuit. While short, it's very quick and technical, and can create some great racing as it forces drivers to really fight for places while also managing the bumps and proximity to the walls all around. I've always wanted the track to officially appear in a console racer of some kind, so I'm very interested in this new game now.

Nah, I agree on all your points, it’s a great track and I can’t wait to tackle it in iRacing itself!

I’m in a similar boat as an Adelaide native - iRacing scanned the street circuit here last year and I’m so eager to drive it when it eventually lands on the platform, because in my heavily biased opinion is it’s one of the greatest street circuits ever raced.

Thermal Club, and surprisingly Toronto are both off of the '26 schedule from the looks of it. Although there were rumors before the whole motorsport games mess that Toronto had been scanned.

Hopefully they throw in Belle Isle, cause the new Detroit track looks garbage.

I'm excited for this game overall, but it's a reminder that the Indycar schedule could be a lot better.

That is amazing.

I have the RSS AC 1999 CART car and it drives so well but AC is just not built for this at all. No flying starts, oval fastlane hard to do, etc.

I've been waiting for this for a long time.

And ditto... please let there be a 90's classic season from the Zanardi/Montoya era.
