Participation is pretty good. Most of the races go official, and there's multiple splits on weekends.

To record in higher resolution with FRAPS you need to set it at Full Screen in the Video tab.

Agreed your set-up is amazing with the multi screens.
 
That was definitely a stupid move on the last video! You're right, if he's going for the outside there's where he should stay! The squeezing you like that knowing you are there is just plain dirty!

Same gripe I've had about iRacing since getting it. It's 2 things that really really piss me off. I really want triple screens but these things keep me from doing it.

1. You sit too high in almost every car, more noticeable in the open wheel cars. But, I think they like it sitting high because you get the real view point, and members won't be able to keep control of the car nor know where the front of it is. So, I would be faster because I am used to the lower seating position and that would be more fun to me but, for the majority of the members they would hate it.

2. With triple screens you see WAY too much of the car. Looking at that HPD. You really shouldn't be able to see the mirrors that clearly. They sit really wide out on the car. And very close to the drivers positions. You should still have to move your head to be able to see what is going on in them.

Either I've misunderstood your rant or you've missed that fact we can change the FOV up and down in the cockpit :confused:

How do you adjust seat hight? I know about FOV.

in the Other settings, on the Left column just above FOV adjust, you can adjust seat up and down, , I raced my wheel high as well, the top of the wheel is just at my eye level, I use the Seat adjust to make every car wheels on that level.
 
Woah woah woah hold up. This is in the regular GUI settings? I have not seen this before. New feature maybe? I'm going to go start up my PC and check out now.
 
Adjusting the height uses the same keys as adjusting the FOV ([ and ]), you only need to hold SHIFT while pressing them.

^ Wow, those are fantastic! Here is my last lap battle from a few weeks ago in Grand Touring cup on Watkins Glen, this was for first in class. I'm in the Red/Green MX-5. Does editing the video in Windows Movie Maker reduce the quality of the video? I can't seem to get it to upload in HD

 
No, you can upload in HD using Movie Maker. At least in the Vista/7 version you can, not sure about the XP one.

Maybe you're not capturing it in full screen with FRAPS?
