I think he picked up a deal. I havent seen one listed for less than 14k here in Colorado. The mileage isnt very high at all. And yes Honda's have extreme resale value. My first car was a 1991 Honda Civic STD. This means my Civic was bottom of the barrel. 82hp probaly 2lbft of torque. No power options whatsoever. AC? No way. Heck it had a 4 speed manual transmission. When someone rearended me in it and totalled it......... His insurance company paid me 2500 american dollars, this was without anykind of haggling from me. I think he got a decent deal....if your into Civics. Only thing is they are extremely expensive to insure due to the fact that little hoodlums like to steal them and yoink that DOCH VTEC motor for their little lowly Civic's. As for the Lancer's. Unless it says EVO after it....... it aint worth your time for a performance vehicle.
