Is "Eifel (Circuit) 102D" a new track?

I know, it sounds like a stupid question to me too, because I'm sure they would have mentioned it in the list of changes. I've pretty much completed all the races apart from the last endurance races, but I've never seen it before todays seasonal events. Are there any others that I might not know about?

Nope, it's a track from the Course Maker/ Generator.
With that said, you should go make some tracks now, it's lots of fun to create them 👍

Not sure if it is the same one, but the Eifel track they use for the RX-7 seasonal event wreaked havoc with me the first time out... all the uphill blind corners drove me mad! But a few suspension tweaks ironed out this issue... still not big on that style of track though.

Ya, that track was even giving the AI fits. The AWD one isn't too nice as well, all that up uphill climbs followed by sudden sharp turns.

In the Eifel bonus race it seems like it's pre-programmed for 3 cars or so right at the beginning to lose it leaving you driving blind through a cloud of smoke. Am I the only one seeing this? It is cool seeing the CPU shredding tires through those turns though later on though.

Nope same thing happened to me... NSX spun out and I had to dodge two cars in a cloud of smoke. I love this game, the update was awesome and eifel is kinda frustrating at first but a lot of fun once you figure it out.

I don't know about you guys but I hate all these custom tracks.
Especially the F1 one with it's tiny jumps.

I thought it was an NSX of mine as well... except by the 3rd restart I actually slowed down enough to see who was wiping out and it turned out to be a 300ZX that lost it all on its own. Once both it and the NSX wrecked, but independently of each other...:dunce: What I didn't get was why they wreck on the very first turn, before we even got to the hard stuff!

The Mt.Aso Track (4wd 5th race), was in the game from the beginning though. Its the track from the Car Demo.
Too bad they didnt added it to Practice too.

Yeah I didn't like them either, lots of jumps and far too many blind corners. Not too bad if you're on your own but with AI going around like grannies, lots of crashing ensues.

I made an Eifel track with a uphill blind right-hander so steep you coulden't get a 2cv or Fiat 500 up it!!! Or an Escudo in 6th (Turbo lag) :D

Ok, I thought it was just me. I'm not a big fan of the pre-programmed stuff like that. Unless it's just that driver's skill and each time you restart it an independent event. If that happened 9 out of 10 times then it'll be ok because of that 10th time it didn't happen. That would mean it isn't some that HAS to happen but will very LIKELY happen because of that driver's skill.
