I am planning to buy a PS2 for a while now, but since I saw a commercial of GT3 on TV, I am SOLD!! wow, it looked good.

But... is GT3 worth buying a PS2 for? Though the game looks good, does it have enough options and features (like car settings/life-lasting playability) to make the game REALLY good?

Thanks if anyone could answer this question.

hell yeah u could change just about everything including the oil if ur really interested u should buy the ps2 with gt3 already in it for about 329.99

Yeah, and I can play DVD movies too...

but I live in Holland, so I don't know if there is a package with GT3 already in it...

I bought the PS2 system JUST FOR GT3. I bought it a while ago, when it was availbale through Sony.com in the second wave (didnt want to pay EBay prices when GT3 wasnt out yet) and was enjoying Ridge Racer V and Moto GP while i was waiting for GT3... and now i am going STUPID FAST

Personally, I would say GT3 is more than worth the money for a PS2.  Of course, you can always rent a PS2 and GT3 at Blockbuster and try it out first.  :)

I've already got a PC and bought a PS2 just for GT3. :odd:

Look at it this way, a real Imprezza or an Evo - gotta be the bargain road rockets - are going to cost you a whole lot more than a PS2! Moreover you get 185 cars with GT3 and unlimited fuel and tyres so you can drift round the bends all day long.  😈

Finally - game over in the real world is rather more harsh than on GT3! :o
