I was driving on a frontage road next to a pretty big highway here, and I saw a wheel/tire break off a semi truck and go tumbling down the road against traffic. It was pretty scary

I was thinking the same thing. Im sure it was an 80's Caddy with a lift to allow the fittiment, inadequate brakes and (obviously) inadequate lugs/axle.

He is lucky it didnt come down about a foot to the left.
