Is it actually possible to go past 257.3 MPH on Mission Challenge 4-4?

I feel like it is possible, though I’m sure that to actually pull it off you have to do EVERYTHING with laser precision and calculate every move, which is fine and I can and will put in the time to eventually get the WR but I just want to know if it’s actually possible first, so I don’t spend even more time chasing something that can’t happen. Is it mathematically impossible or can it be done? I know nobody has achieved 257.9 so it’s hard to tell but I’m just curious if anyone out there knows.

I’ve experimented with so many different strategies and techniques that I believe I’ve narrowed it down to one or two strategies which seem to be the only potential way past 257.3 MPH. One of the strategies is very variable at the start, so it’s not fully optimised yet but the base for it is there. I want to say I need 32 frames of clear running in the LaFerrari’s slipstream at 257.2 before the speedometer finally ticks over to the next increment, the furthest I’ve gotten is 12. On the thirteenth I slam into the back of the LaFerrari.

So, what do you think? Possible or not?

EDIT: Came across as a bit full of myself, apologies for that. Was really tired when I wrote it and wasn’t thinking with a fresh mind. Thanks to all for pointing it out. 👍

I feel like it is possible but I’ve clocked well over 1700 miles and surely more than 15 hours trying to beat my record (I’m tied for #1 with 257.3 MPH) and still no luck. I ran the test for almost 800 miles last night, was streaming it for 6 hours. Yes.

Well surely you know better than everyone here with the time you've spent doing it, whether it can be done or not.

I don't know if you're trying to bait an alien in to beating you (or not), or trying a humble brag; but I'm hoping my super cynical comment will give you the kick up the bum to go and get the world record :D

Good luck

Who knows? I got the gold and moved on .
It’s not a humble brag at all. I just want to know if it is mathematically possible. I guess if I look back at it, it does look a little like that, I’ll change my post a bit. Wrote it when I was super tired so apologies if it comes across like that.

Not a humble brag! Sorry if it comes across like that, will change my main post a bit. It’s just that I don’t actually know for sure if it is, I FEEL like it is but I’m not certain. I was simply wondering if anyone knew if it was mathematically possible.

Thank you!
