is it normal to be squirrely and all over the road in a straight with an X1? (wheel)

i took it on the indy 500 track and its hard to get it straight without wobbling on the logitech driving force wheel.

Yeah, it does wonder around a bit in a straight line... I think it's something to do with the extreme toe settings.

I found this car muhc easier to manage with FF set to 1.

I found you had to 'grip' the wheel, instead of 'holding' it, if you know what i mean.

well, pretty much everytime i come out of the turn into a straight i have to grip that wheel as if my life is about to end. i thought my wheel was broke. on the other cars its fine. i noticed a little bit of trouble with zr-1.

If you are talking about the plain Driving Force, I think that wheel came out around 2001 and has a considerable looseness in it. It's also a 200 degree wheel. Makes it difficult to drive straight. Add to that the X2010 has a ton of feedback and you have a problem.

I can't recommend my G25 because they haven't patched in the code for it yet and the X2010 will wear you down in short order. Probably the Driving Force GT would work better.

I just got one of those HkS Controllers with the thumb wheel and the X1 is suprisingly easy to control with it
