If not for ads there would be no commercially free Internet. You will pay for EVERYTHING!

Commercial-free Internet means you will be paying in some way, anyway. Figure that out.

After reading through this, I think that I'm going to request Jordan to turn ads back on for me although I'm premo.

How do they work on the iPod app?

Jordan i'm sorry but many ads can be malicious and my laptop nearly died due to an "antivirus" ad. This ad wasn't on GTP but it was on GoogleAds which all websites uses! I have no money to buy anything because my laptop broke (DC jack) and I need the money to fix it! I maybe get premuim when I have money and i'm too paranoid on the web to allow any ads! So long story short I don't want ads because they can lead to malicious software and sites and I don't have any money for premuim. Sorry

There is a very simple fix for this.... Don't click on it. Ads from trusted sites such as this will and should be fine. If your on johndoe's shaddy site then don't click. If you really like the look of something go to google and search what it was after. Like Jordan said he gets paid for the banner being displayed not for the click anyway.

Malware can also spread just through the graphic from an ad (everything you look at is at least temporarily downloaded on to your machine), sometimes stuff like that can pop-up through Google ads, if something like this happens, it's possible that your browser or AV system starts to block whole websites.

The best solution to all of this is to buy Premium. It supports the site directly as opposed to through GoogleAds and you get something in return for your money too. I had mine bought for me but had I not I'd have paid up for a lifetime subscription.

A lot of people take things for granted, I'd love to see some members on here complaining about ads run this site in their spare time for a month.

Here's how I see it.

Unlike other sites, Jordan will actively remove ads that become annoying/intrusive. I know this because I noticed an add with sound before, notified him, and instead of saying 'too bad' like most probably would...he took action and got rid of the annoying ad. He's trying to help us, why not throw him a bone and deal with ads.

Or get premium...it works out to about $1 per month yearly...really not too big of a hit on the ol' wallet.
