Is it possible to B-spec the Super Speedway Endurance?

I don't particularly agree with the 'drive the hardest tires' strategy.

I A-Spec'd this track, and was able to change tires to all of the different racing tires during pit stops, and I found I got the best average of quick lap times / pitting using Racing Medium in the rear, and hard's up front.

I used the 88C-V, and ended up ahead by 3 laps by the end.

You know what, I went back and ran this track using the Audi R8 last night and found the same thing. The tires on the front wore out quicker for this particular track, but thats with my particular setup. Usually with the same setup on the other non-oval tracks my back tires wear out quicker, but on this track it was the opposite. I could probably have tweaked the suspension to over come this but I didn't bother, I liked the balance overall so I just put the super-hards on front and the hards on the rear (so what i said above was incorrect).

BUT I guess it's all about finding the right combination for you and your particular setup. Each setup may be different so just do a few practice runs and see what works for you.

A-spec only takes 45 minutes, so it´s not that bad... I used the Audi R8 with the smallest turbo upgrade. (LMP900. The 900 is for around 900 BHP, isn´t it?) three pitstops was all, but I only won by one lap.

for the super speed way i used a fully tuned minolta with nos and it did the job did the whole thing in A spec i only pitted every 20 laps with super hard tyres just go off the wall most of the time and it did good got atleast 5 laps over the 2nd car

I used the Minolta again. In A-Spec. I rode the walls always and drafted as much as possible. In the beginning i used the NOS until it was empty(70 hp). And then i rode the walls until i finished lap 25.then to the pit and fill the tank and change the tires.and again i rode the walls. then lap 50.then lap 75 and then lap 100.about 50 minuts of race in there.and the turbo is on with the rollcage and hard hard street tires

What i did was use my MINOLTA on b-spec, i used racing hards up front and in rear, and i know the exact reason why the b-spec driver is crashing into the pit lane, its because you have left 'overtake' on - the driver does not stick to the correct driving lane whilst on overtake, i only had to pit three times was about 3 laps in front

No I haven't done this race on B-Spec because my friend tried that in the Minolta and he came 4th :banghead:.

My best car was the Audi R8 with tranny trick and a-specced the whole race as the computer pits too often.

Honsetly people, if you are going to sit there and direct poor old bob for the whole race (ie. switching between speed settings) then you may as well just run the darned thing in A-Spec.

I personally will only B-Spec if I have already run the whole series in A-Spec (and won) and I am using it as an 'ATM'. (Yes I realise that that could be classed as cheating, but a dawg's gotta do what a dawg's gotta do). And I normally stick him on 4 and overtake until he is past the field, then take off overtake, but leave him on 4 (or 3 if it's a particularly twisy track...or the Nurb)

Just remember, old Bob hasn't got the advantage of driving a laser-guided car like the other AI have, so ya gotta make a few allowances.
