Is it possible to compare qualifying replays?

Hi,

I'm learning a lot by watching the qualifying replays (bumper cam + full details just like when I race myself) of the fastest players. But mentally I need to compare it to my own actions in order to learn from them.

So, is there any way to better compare my qualifying lap with another player's? Either by overlaying data or by having both replays of the same corner on the same screen?

I guess I could try to save my own replay to mp4 and another player's as well and then try to compare both videos on my computer, but I'm looking for something more user friendly of course.

Wishful thinking I presume, but I can ask, right?

I don't believe it's possible to compare replays in game the way you describe.

You can load the ghost data of a top 10 time into your time trial session and race against the other players car and see their lines/speed etc.

Otherwise I suspect you would have to do the two video's together on a PC using the likes of Youtube.

I personally find using the ghost car data is still quite helpful in learning how to improve on a track and so forth.,

You can put two laps side by side in the PS4 share factory, just YouTube a tutorial on how to use and download it, it’s free. All you have to do is save the video of each lap with the share button and they become available in the editor.
