A 2010 birthday ticket?

Yes you can, but after you turn off your console and start it again, the car will be gone from your garage.

Will you still have the ticket?

No it uses up the ticket and the car will disappear.

What if you save it after you get the car and when the car goes away you load the file back up.

Yes, that can work. But you'll have to keep overwriting & backup your save if you want to keep it.

I've been told when you turn off the console but I'm not turning it off I'm leaving the game.

Leaving the game will make the car go too. The only way you can get and keep any DLC car is by using a code because DLC cars are saved in the Game Data and not with the Save Data like all the other cars.

 Leave it on forever.
That will ruin the ps3.

If it's a dlc car why would they put it in 2010 ticket?

Because pd are boneheads

Because it is technically speaking a 2010 car, any '2010' car is immediately put into that ticket.

they are not boneheads. some of us just dont understand the effort that it takes to make a game. :P they have just left things out because they were focusing too much on some things

Prove it. ;)

It is proven , when you leave a huge piece of plastic and metal on for a continueous amount of time it will heat up and once it reaches a certain temperature things will start to melt. And once it cools again things will be out of shape and destroyed. Its just common sense

OK, so where does it say that in the PS3 manual? I'm not trying to argue with you, but just saying there are people who do not turn theirs off. :sly:

If its properly ventilated, kept free of dust, and the room is a consistently cool temperature it will NEVER overheat.

Off topic guys. There are alot of ways to prevent overheat. Mine has never broken, and it's on for continues days, hours, etc.
Only the back end heats up, not that much that it stings, its just worm.
There are alot of Guides Like This And More...
On another notice, I think the car will be gone after every reset, or exiting to main menu (Where you select GTHome, Practice, Course Maker etc.) and the car is just as good as any nascar.
Goodluck finding a DLC one, and finding one that works in your country ^^

I've got the Gamestop Camry if you just want to give it a drive, send me a message telling me how to go about loaning it, I've never loaned one before.

Maybe you can put it on share , but no one can borrow it.

Nope, the car stays as long as you leave the game on. The game deletes the car as soon as you start your savefile not a minute sooner or later.

Like I already said the game deletes the car once you start your or any other savefile with the car. You can backup your save data as long as you want, it won't work. The game loads the data once you start it and detects that you have a dlc car you should not have and then it gets automatically deleted and the game does an auto save.

Put it on 'share with friends' and it will show in your profile, where friends can test drive it. I wonder if one can borrow this car from all regions.

No Bobby, it does not work for any DLC, you can only view it as -raVer- mentioned.
