Is it possible to run multiple displays through one HDMI?

I've got an ASUS VH242H my PS3, cable box are connected to it. Thing is the monitor only has one HDMI port. That means when I use my PS3 I need to take the HDMI and plug it in the PS3, when I use the Cable box I need to connect the HDMI to the cable box. See where this is going? It's not a problem but it's a small inconvenience. I'm also getting a new PC that means I with have to continuously interchange 3 HDMI cables between all the devices. Is there an adapter which will allow me to connect all the HDMIs together into the monitor? So I don't have to manually switch cables. For example: Two devices will be switched off but the one running will display on the monitor. Just curious.

This is a good cheap HDMI switcher that supports HDMI 1.3b. I have been using it for the last ten months and I've had no problems. It automatically switches to any sources you've turn on and you can use the remote to switch from the PS3 to the PC if you want to look something up quickly.

Thread title confused me. He wants multiple devices feeding the display, not multiple displays on a device.

That would be different.

My reply would have been completely inapplicable, as well.

I'll go find another thread, now. Bye.

I assume wfooshee meant daisy-chaining HDMI displays (I thought that too by the title).
