is it safe to glitch(20,000,000 hack)?

i've seen so many users who use this glitch... is it ok if I'm going to do it also?? i WANT MANY CARS.. BUT I'm worried if this might cause damage to my gt6 cd or my ps3... please help me .. thanks..

No damage will be caused if you follow the steps properly. Also, the glitch is a glitch not a hack, it's part of the game.

you shouldn't have any probs.
I have all the cars and then some,with more than 100billion in Cr. and all my main cars modded and tuned.
Main thing I did was to save progress to USB.
Like...
SAVE TO USB :👍
* After you've sold the glitch cars and bought a lot of cars.
* Before you move cars to stockyard.
* After you move cars to stockyard.
* Before you install patch 1.01.
* And after you install patch 1.01(preferably on a different USB stick).
These are just precautions I take in order to avoid and f*#k ups.
Of course,don't take my word for it as with any glitch it's done at your own risk.

i get in the car... and i did'nt save the time that i have the 1m cr. that was so sad... is there any other ways?

It's not a hack, but it's not really part of the game either. It's an exploit of a loophole in the system, so although your PS3 and disc will be fine, it's kind of a grey area when it comes to the terms of use. But if they can and want to do something about it, they'll probably hand out a warning first, so I'd say it's safe until you hear something else.

Up mean no thumbnail images of cars ? If so you just need to update the thumbnails. Every time you glitch the images disappear.

i done the glitch this morning for son and could only sell mercs for 300.000 a piece. keep your original 20 mil. have a feeling they have dropped the resale value ver 1.02

Did you sell it in V1.00? If you updated first, that's the problem.

I purchased my copy at Game Stop and may have been version 1.01 on the disc with no update needed. Is there any way to make use of the glitch before I update to 1.02? Maybe I missed something. I deleted the game files (96kb) and loaded the disc back in and it asked if I wanted to run from my backed up copy or not. I said no and it never asked about an update to 1.01.

Do I have to save my backup off the HDD and onto a thumb drive to get it to work? I am not a Plus member.

I already finished the game, got to end credit screen, (beautiful one) , unlocked some GT5 prologue music, golded the goodwills, and all I ever bought was the Honda Fit, and Pontiac TransAm.

Gonna keep it casual till GT7 comes. I gave too much time to GT5, gonna average it out.

might devote more time if and only if the sounds ever do get revamped. I don't think this will happen on PS3 though, all resources are being pulled for video and 1080p. I smell a GT6 for PS4 with the proper sounds, this will bring the forum to its knees.

If it did come as 1.01 you will not be able to do the glitch. If its 1.00 you still will not be able to as the 1.01 update is no longer available and it will not work with cars obtained in 1.02. At least accourding to what others are reporting, not going to personally confirm.

It could cause damage to your PS3 because the glitch will have you playing the game for longer so there's an increasing chance that your disc drive will burnout and fail.
