Is the Bentley Speed 8 worth the buying? A lot of money for one of the most expensive endurance racer... I'm currently using the FGT spec 2. Is the bentley any better?

if you get an LMP car, the best ones are the nissan r series cars. the r89 is around the same price as the speed 8 but is faster, corners better, and sounds better

My feedback is from playing with all aids off, except abs on 1.

Bentley is faster then any premium LMP (787, 908, etc) and on standard only 2 LMP cars are faster (sauber-mercedes, audi r8 race car).

Probably with aids on some monsters like nissan r92 u can go faster, but if you play with no aids yu have to feed in carefully your throtle and wont do as fast lap times as with bentley.

the speed 8 is half price on the OCD at the moment, so wouldn't hurt to buy it anyway, and it will be one more car towards owning all of them in the game :)

Easy to grind the money in seasonals and when it leaves the OCD you'll regret not buying it because out is very rare to see in the UCD.

The Gt One is faster IMHO

10 runs at Eiffel will get you the Cr you need for this car and a little more. About 35mins.

It's my favourite car. Handles great, sounds brilliant, fast. I think the Toyota GT1 is faster, but the noise gets on my t!ts! The deal in the OCD is not to be missed!

The FGT is the second fastest racing car in the game, the Bentley is awesome and you should buy it, better fun to drive yes, but not faster. If by FGT you mean Ford GT, then yes the Bentley is faster.

You can't say a car is faster in your opinion. Either it is or it isn't, and in this case the Toyota GT ONE is not faster than the Bentley Speed 8. In fact, the Speed 8 is currently the leader on my Top Gear power laps board, and I've ran some heavy hitters (Toyota 88-CV, Nissan R89, Suzuki Escudo, Mazda 787B, Audi R10, Pescarolo C60 Hybride, etc.)

Not only was it fastest, but it was also extremely consistent. It is easily one of the best cars in the game and will annihilate other cars with similar hp on just about any track.

I have all the LMP and once you get a setup on it the std R8 Race car (not playstation one) is one of the quickest

If you want a car that looks like a green Toyota GT-ONE and sounds like an R8 Race Car, then you can't get better than the Speed 8

I missed the updated OCD last night. I'll have to pick up a few more copies of the Speed 8 ;)

I'm still cycling the UCD looking for the 2j and the R8 Race Car 01'.

I have not used my wheel in a couple months. I've been reclined on the couch driving with the HTS (?) controller blipping the throttle (seems to spike, no low power setting) and I find that the lower HP challenges are much easier to grind with an inprecise controller. I tried the Audi R10 last night for the first time (got bored and finally bought it so my earnings would not be lopped off above 20 mil). With the torque of that motor I kept going sideways the first lap. It took a while to slow it down coming out of the corners. Anti-lock brakes are all I used for help (if you don't count the racing soft tires ;))

Also drove the Saleen S7 for the first time last night. I was surprised how easy it was to control the slides through the corners (after losing control). I think I may start using it for drift competitions and just do them at speed :D
