Now as far as additional Polestar models go - not counting the sportier Volvo models with the Polestar branding - I think the 6 would make a great fit since it's intended to be a sportier model. There's also the older 1, especially since it's the sole model that isn't a BEV, instead being a PHEV. I do actually like the overall design of the 5 we now have, too.

"Autavia" has created a decent version of this special livery.

Here's my attempt at recreating the photo above using Autavia's livery. The color matching is a bit off, and I think that's on me, not Autavia.

One little detail I noticed is that the yellow in your decal has HSV = 143/100/100 whereas Autavia used 147/100/100

Hence a slightly different hue

I eyeballed it on a couple of 12MB (11k by 9k) press images and am happy enough :lol:

I think I want to paint the car the same white as the Gran Turismo logo on the lower section of the doors - which is too low because... I cheated. It's actually a "Gran Turismo The Real Driving Simulator" decal, but in any other position that lower text appears on the sill. If the whole car is the same white, it won't - and gives the logo more of a negative space vibe.

Ultimately the money comes from and ends up in China, but Polestar is not Chinese.

Polestar is a business unit with Volvo, run by European CEOs - Michael Lohscheller (German) at Polestar, and Hakan Samuelsson (Swedish) again at Volvo. The Polestar 5 will, I think, be assembled in China (that's vertical integration for you), but it uses a unique European-developed platform called PPA and won't actually be sold in the Chinese market.
