Is the car you currently own in real life in the game, and do you own it?

I used to have a '97 3000GT, i own it in the game now. I now own a '99 Subaru Outback Legacy. The closest i can get to my current car in the game is the Legacy Touring Wagon GT-B ‘96 . Even fully upgraded the thing still turns like a bus  So do you own any of your current or pass cars in GT5.

I was surprised when a '93 bonneville wasn't added I figured there would be a good chance of it being a race car but just flat out not in the game?

I've owned 3 cars that are in GT5, my current car an Evo 8 GSR, my previous car an RX8 231 and the car before that a Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 (the one in GT5 is a 1.4 but its close enough). They all feel amazingly close to the real thing especially the RX8 as the engine sound is pretty much perfect but I think the most impressive thing is how the suspension reacts to bumps and cornering, its just crazy how they get it to feel exactly like the real thing.

Darn, that was the car i wanted most. :banghead:

So you understand my frustration?

I have a '88 BMW E30 M3 and is VERY unsatisfied not to see it in the game. And it has neither been in the previous GTs.
A BMW E30 M3 is the most winning car in motorsport ever made, but it has never appered in the biggest racing-game ever... WHAT A JOKE!

I drive a '91 Dodge Ram D350, Dual rear wheels, 5sp Getrag manual, with a Cummins Turbo Diesel engine. Unfortunately it isn't in the game... I'd love to drive it around the 'Ring.

I have an Eagle Talon TSi AWD...and they put the base model, front wheel drive car with the Dodge Neon engine in the game instead of the all wheel drive coupe with the same engine as Lancer Evo's?? C'mon man...

I have a Laguna Seca Blue 2001 BMW M3 with ESS VT440 stage 1 supercharger. In the game I have both standard E46 M3 model and the E46 M3 CSL in my color. Only wish my car would become premium so that I can get the same wheels I currently own.

Also, my car has CSL trunk and rear diffuser mods like the real CSL. I'll post pictures when I'm not on my iPhone.

If only it were premium...

That is a sick car . Looks well taken care of. That model of MR2 is hard to find, and the few i've seen have had high mileage on them. I think i'll post up a picture of my old 3000GT and my Subaru. :sly:

I have the pug 206rc. But it's not premium in the game. Still they really do get the physics spot on.

LeMans Blue 2006 C6 Corvette. non Z06 (wish they put this version in the game) Daily driver, 6 speed. Bought when I was 19 a few years ago when I was in the USAF. My enlistment bonus helped as a good down payment. The car has been nothing but reliable ever since and it's my daily driver with 70k miles. I finish payments on it in a few months. :sly: Nowadays these cars can be bought a lot cheaper (used). I recommend a C6 to anyone who's feeling the need for speed. 👍

1990 Nissan 300zx. Just a few dumb things about it...it was made in 1989 which makes it a 1990 model in the US. (I guess an '89 model in Japan) The 1998 model, which is a standard car only, has a steering wheel on the left (US) side, when the last year for the US models were in 1996. (Japan continued until 1999.) So why would a year that doesn't exist in the US have a wheel on the left side? And no premium model for left hand drive. :(

I wish they had my car in game, 2009 Shelby GT500 that has been to the mod shop a couple of times.

I've owned a lot of cars in my days...but none are in GT

'69 Chevelle SS - no
'72 Chevelle SS - no
'95 Camaro Z28 - no (hated this POS anyway)
'88 Mustang GT - no
'94 Mustang Cobra - no
'89 RX7 GTUs - kinda
'91 300ZX TT - hey, there's one!!!
'89 Isuzu Impulse - no
'95 VW Passat - no
'99 Chevy full size - no
'02 BMW 330ci - kinda

Had a handful of other turds/beaters and if those were in the game in their various cancer-ridden dilapidated states, that'd be cool. But a shiny & undented '89 Ford Probe? Nah...I'd rather have a winter beater.

I had a giggle at "dual rear wheels". I suppose you mean two axles?

I drive a '91 M3, also quite bummed it hasn't made it into GT yet. Forza 3 has the E30 M but the physics are so bad in that game it's no fun to drive. Epic car in real life! I also have a Subaru Forester that I would love to drive in GT5.

I got a '98 Chevy S10...too bad trucks are uncommon in racing games :(.

Would be nice to see the Ford Raptor though...that is one 🤬 truck!!!
